The location was good. Ever heard of fur coat no knickers? This was that. Looks great from the front and apparently if you had a superior room it was also good. Standard rooms don't count even at 130-150 Euros per night. It is not 4 star. No offer of help with bags. We were in the back annex which is in need of a refurb. Mouldy ceiling in the bathroom, hairdryer from last century that was hot to hold. A separate toilet with no sink so you had to touch two door handles from loo to sink in bathroom. Not the most hygienic. No free water in the room. Tea & Coffee facilities but you had to take the kettle across to the desk to plug in. These were the only plugs. No USBs. Vinyl flooring and poor sound proofing. We could hear next door talking and laughing quite late. Nothing wrong in that, but would have been better to have some sound proofing, like a carpet to soften sound. If you must stay then upgrade to superior rooms as they must be better. Lovely staff and nice public areas.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. It was very quiet and peaceful. It would her been nice to have conditioner as well as shampoo. A tray for the soap would be good also And 11am checkout feels a bit early. 12.00 would be better.

Overall good experience with a hotel in the heart of the city but on a quiet street away from the crowds. The hotel was clean, check in and out was easy and luggage storage provided.

I would HIGHLY recommend Hotel Acacia for a city break in Bruges. The hotel is situated one street away from the main centre of the city as well as all the shops and restaurants- never stayed in a hotel this close to a city centre before, for such an affordable price. The hotel were also great at communicating and allowed me to reserve a parking space prior to our arrival so we had no issues there. The rooms were a great size, very comfortable and the breakfast had so many different options - couldn’t recommend it higher!

Really nice hotel and couldn’t be in a better location, gated car park (needs booking - at a fee but worth it) lovely breakfast too. Room needs some adjustments, velux window was partly open on arrival and wouldn’t fully shut. Limited amount of plugs especially for the kettle (very random). Friendly reception staff, would come back
