This is a beautiful old hotel. The single room was tiny with a small stand-up shower, however, it was clean, hotel reception service was helpful and the breakfast buffet was lovely. No complaints.

The breakfast was an add on for the room, it was SOOOOO worth it! wide Varity, lovely dining room, the wait staff were amazing!! on the very next street, there are 2 subway stations, restaurants, a pharmacy, stores with food, drinks, wine and beer!! LOVED IT, and it is RIGHT NEXT TO HYDE PARK!!

Location is great, lots of food nearby. Staff were nice. The main floors are beautiful. They need to update the pillows. They were hard and flat and did not have any extra. I would stay here again.

The property has a bad Oder and the rooms are NOT soundproof like their website says it does. The staff at the front desk was rude and we were told to turn our TV off at 12:45am because the room connected to our their headboard was on the same wall as our TV and they could here it. I don’t sleep at night due to medical issues and I was miserable sitting in my room without TV to watch. I paid to have TV but was able to watch it. Absolutely ridiculous! I would not recommend this hotel at all to anyone!

Hotel staffs are very nice and helpful in many ways. The location is perfect for walking and very close to the train station. Highly recommended.

Room was clean but needed TLC. Wish they would have mentioned that there is major construction next door and noise level terrible starting at 8 am. A/C did not function and room was stifling hot. The tiny bathroom somehow trapped heat or it was being brought in somehow making it like a sauna. The staff did accommodate our request for a fan

Old-world Edwardian-style hotel. In places rather shabby -needs some tlc. Handy for Queensway tube station and Hyde Park but next to a building site. I rather object to having to provide photo id. Other UK hotels do not require this. Overall, convenient but not worth the cost.

It was difficult to regulate the heat and a draft blew directly on my bed that upset my sinus. The hotel is attractive on the outside and the reception rooms are attractive. My room was small.

Location great hotel not so good
The first night we stayed the room was awful -no natural light windows covered with tatty blackout film and broken blind. Window didn't open light fittings wonky bathroom smaller than my home wardrobe and bits missing on taps Staff very kindly moved us and although room nicer mould round bath bits missing on tap covers and shower head was too revolting to use (there was a bath) Staff lovely though but grand entrance not carried through Location amazing though
