Hotel is a great place to stay, in a great location. However, don't be fooled by what is described as a "Deluxe Double", and the advertised pictures. The room was tiny, shower and bath very basic.

The Grand Royale Hyde Park is amazing! The staff is very friendly and treat you like family. The complimentary fruit, chocolates, and bottle of wine were a very nice touch. The room was great and very clean. I highly recommend staying here, the location is great.

The room was very inconvenient for someone with limited mobility, like myself. The bathroom was located five steps below the main level of the room. The door to the room could not be opened if the bathroom door was already open, and vice versa. I did not purchase the breakfast, so can't comment on that. seating at the desk was far from adequate. On the plus side, the staff were very pleasant and accomodating, and the hotel' s location is very convenient to transport and restaurants.

The room was clean and the reception and staff very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the lady in charge did a fantastic job even though she appeared to be working with limited help. She was cheerful even though very busy.

The breakfast staff were amazing! Very attentive and efficient. The hotel was clean. Sometimes had to call down for missed towels. Bring your own facecloth as none are provided. This is our second visit and we look forward to returning! Both visits were more than a week each.

Travel sites say 24 hour hotel service to the airport, at check-in they scheduled us a cab for €80. The elevator to the 6th floor wasn’t working, luckily we didn’t get trapped. The showers have no curtains, which cause the bathroom to get soaked. I would have stayed elsewhere if I had known.

Breakfast was good. Staff at breakfast very nice and efficient. Staff at front desk nice enough, but not helpful with knowledge about surrounding restaurants or services. They knew nothing. Rooms were cleaned everyday which was nice. Rooms were the smallest I’ve ever been in!! Not comfortable for average size people. Ground floor rooms were fun and the history of the hotel was interesting. I would not recommend to stay here.

Everything stood out! I have been staying in this superb hotel for some 15 years. It does need some refurbishing, but its beauty; the skill and kindness of the staff and management; and its location -- are unsurpassed. Another fantastic stay!

Gorgeous lobby. We visited over Christmas & was welcomed with mulled wine & mince pies 🎄 Room was very clean and cosy. Excellent location very close to 2 tube stations taking us where we needed to be. Also surrounded by lots of shops & restaurants.

The hotel interior was beautiful. Offerings of tarts, tea and mulled wine in the gorgeous lobby. Through the doorway you enter a stunning sitting area which we enjoyed a few times. The room was clean & quiet. The location was perfect for our needs and very near several metro stations. Would definitely stay here again.
