We were lead to believe that this was a resort and the rating was 8.6 - Excellent. It is run down, not cleaned well, walls all black from smoke, could not see fire in fireplace as glass doors were black with soot. Tub black on bottom walls not clean, the smoke smell was so bad that we had a hard time sleeping and were all stuffed up. We were sadly disappointed as we love Banff, and this “resort” looks so nice from the outside.

Great hotel with amazing hot tub and views. Room could use a bit of updating but it was lovely to have a kitchenette. People above us were super loud, stomping or whatever they were doing. Was super happy to have my ear plugs. Overall would definitely stay here again just for the hot tub, sauna, and heated pool.

Winter post holiday trip
Went for a post holiday romantic getaway and I was so pleased with this Lodge. The rooms were fully stocked with everything we could need or want. The products were stocked from Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Having a fire place in the room was perfect. Nightly swims in the outdoor hot tub made our trip even better. Would highly recommend.

There was a strong smell of smoke that we couldn’t get rid of because the fireplace didn’t draw properly and the fan didn’t draw in the bathroom even though they replaced the blade . The staff was friendly and they gave us a 25 % discount for our inconvenience which we appreciated. I think we were just unlucky because other people we spoke to said their room was fine. The resort could definitely use some updates

We have been going to this hotel for years. We like having the kitchen and it is the best hot tub ever and the staff have always been great to us. It is in dire need of an upgrade however. A lot of things needed to be addressed in our unit.

We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Our lofted suite was perfect for the 5 of us. Taking the public bus was a breeze. We will be back!
