We had a king bed room on the south wing overlooking the valley. Great view, lots of dining options. We had champayne and cake in our room as a gift for our 50th anniversary a very nice touch.

For the price at least the room we had needs serious updating. I was very disappointed in the room. The pool is big but everything is breaking down, saw black mold. Disappointing.

Christmas decorations made this gorgeous hotel look like a Norman Rockwell painting. Perfect! I hope Encore doesn't change the Classic look of a traditional (deep greens and reds) Christmas as has happened with so many of the Fairmont hotels. Friendly staff!

I did like the views and location I didn't like some things about the room. No toilet paper when arrived, a light was flickering in bathroom, the coffee table leg was broken, patio door wouldn't lock.
