Beautiful property with an easy, lovely walk into town...shopping, restaurants, estuary, beach. Could have used a couple of comfortable chairs in the room...there were only hard wooden dining chairs available.

We have stayed here many times and keep going back because we love it. Great shower, lots of towels, soaps, etc, extra pillows and blankets in the room, large room, comfy bed, and fresh cookies in the lobby. It's an older property and shows some signs of age, but it's quiet and off the road.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room and property were very clean. I could tell that it was cared for. The location was ideal. It was walkable, and there was a lot of elk nearby.. The rooms were very dated, and the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.. however, the room was spacious, had a fireplace, and most importantly felt clean.

The facility was charming and the location great for our stay however the mattress was horrible. After getting a serious backache I ended up sleeping on the floor on a mat borrowed from a local friend. Also the hairdryer cord was 1.5' long not allowing to use it properly.

Cozy and affordable beach vacation
Cozy, affordable little resort just a few minutes' walk from the beach and the town. The layout, rooms spread out in different buildings around a courtyard, offered a nice degree of privacy and quiet. It's not right on the beach, but some rooms offer a partial ocean view. Would stay here again!
