Location, location, location! The location of this hotel is unbeatable. Seriously it’s just right in front of the train station. You can wear your ski boots with your ski gears walk out from the hotel’s ski room directly to catch the train in 2 mins. It’s just like a ski-in/ski-out hotel to Zermatt. The free breakfast was good while dinner lack of choices. Overall, it’s an excellent hotel if you want to ski in Zermatt, but don’t want to stay in Zermatt town (No car allowed).

This is an older property but clean. The facilities such as shower, toilet, kitchen and washer/dryer are shared. I had no issues with congestion. It is literally across the street from the train station and the entire town is walkable from this location. I had a third floor room with a lovely view of the Matterhorn. There is no elevator and heavy luggage might be difficult to manage.

Cozy and clean room with a view of the Matterhorn. Older space but it was well maintained. Easy to walk to what you needed.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite which had the perfect view of the Matterhorn. Also close to the train station and had a free shuttle service.
