The location is perfect! The bus stop is right outside the driveway and the bus takes you directly to the train station and St. Patrick's street. Also, the breakfast is fantastic!
A nice option a 15 minute bus ride (or €12 cab fare) outside of downtown Cork. Clean room, lots of space (sitting room was nice), and good Irish breakfast made for a pleasant stay. Loved the comforter/duvet on the bed.
Old fashioned bed and breakfast. My first time in Ireland and I hadn’t had a traditional Irish breakfast. The chef said “you better have one before you leave.” Not disappointed one bit!
A little outside of town on a busy road. But the hotel is immaculate and our rear-facing room was quiet enough. Cork itself is a transitional town—would not recommend sightseeing there. But we were really just passing through. Nice staff, comfortable room.
200 year old home decorated with antiques. The Manager/Owner and staff do everything they can to make your stay an excellent stay. The Breakfast was very special.
Lovely older lodge, would be a 3 star in the Loire Valley. Generous breakfast, beautiful garden, easy walk to downtown, convenient for the airport. Staff are efficient, but not overly chutty (they seemed very busy - perhaps short staffed?). I would stay here again!
Comfortable, old charm feel about the lodge. Breakfast the hero with excellent range of continental and hot food offerings. Only slight knock was room was stuffy and warm after a ‘warm summers day of 21c!
Great hotel to stay at in Cork. Onsite parking and buses into the city are right outside. Had a room with a conservatory type sitting area. Nice friendly staff, great breakfast and is a great place to stay.
Lovely room. There is a sitting room attached that has lots of light in the morning and there are no curtains to cover the doors so our room was light at 5:30am. Also, it would be nice if they had a luggage stand so I don’t have to put my luggage on the floor. Nice bathroom, lovely breakfast included. Lots of choices on restaurants to eat within a very short distance. 8-10 min drive to all the downtown night life and shopping. Free parking was very nice in an area it’s hard to find.
