Sleep like a pop star! Once local, Jessica Simpson, stayed with her family in these quaint quarters while visiting Waco, TX! This modern, fresh and newly renovated cottage with full kitchen is the perfect bungalow for two couples, one family, or a group of ladies looking for a getaway just outside of the Waco city limits! There are two separate king bedrooms with private bathrooms. Both bedrooms have an additional sleeping space for kiddos. This cottage sits on 30 acres with huge Oak trees lit by string lights! There are several different bungalows at Gathering Oaks Retreat. We are set up like a country-chic boutique hotel with 18 modern-rustic rooms and lots of open-air to retreat, relax, or rejoice. Blessed is the life that finds JOY in the journey.
Make yourself comfortable in your air-conditioned vacation home, which features a microwave. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination featuring a jetted bathtub and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a coffee/tea maker and a sofa bed.

Perfect Little Getaway
Husband and I booked a trip to Waco and wanted to stay the night somewhere different/unique. Not too far from town but was so nice to be out in “the country.” This place was perfect! Loved the pool and the games provided out on the lawn. Great stay!

Property and owners were wonderful & I highly recommend the property. We enjoyed our time at Gathering Oaks. The rental process was easy along with check-in and instructions from the owner were clear and easy to follow for access to the property.

Great stay!
The 2 bedroom was the perfect size for our family! Peaceful setting with great outdoor seating and playground that was wonderful for our 3 year old. The check in and out process was easy and the hosts were nice to text and check in on us to see if we needed anything. Easy access to get to Waco but felt more relaxing being outside of town. We would not hesitate to book again and would highly recommend it!

Great stay!
The property and room were lovely (2 bedroom cottage). We had a small graduation party over the weekend and they were kind enough to set up a private table/chairs for our group. The kids enjoyed the pool and activities around the common area (giant jenga, washers, horse shoes, swing set).
