It was amazing the host Hazel and friend meet us in the car park, showed us to the rooms and around the property. Very friendly and welcoming , will be booking again.

The hosts were really friendly, we were met outside in the car park and shown to our room. The communication regarding arrival time and offer to help with finding somewhere to eat before our stay added an extra level of care they put into their guests as well as the toiletries and fruit/drink options in the room. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Gorgeous room with a four poster bed and plenty of space with the shared "living room" area on the top floor. Lovely views from the room and i even saw a red squirrel outside. Definitely would stay here again.

Not even the word “perfect” would do this place justice. The location was absolutely stunning, the staff were amazing and very welcoming…and the room wow. Highly recommend visiting this hidden gem!

Excellent stay. Hazel who owns the hotel was lovely and very attentive. The room was impressive and of a very high standard. The breakfast was exceptional with a very good choice of items and all were freshly cooked to order. Great surroundings and a lovely wel kept garden. A real pleasure to stay. Congratulations to Hazel on a fantastic venue.

Stafford House We had a wonderful stay with Hazel and Ian, what a beautiful setting and superb surroundings. The friendliest hosts we've ever stayed with. Room was perfect and the breakfasts were superb too.

A lovely stay at a lovely house.
A lovely old world property with delightful gardens. This was an overnight stay as we headed south after doing the NC500. Hazel and her family were really welcoming and genuinely friendly. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a good bath/shower etc.Parking was easy and the location was easy to find with great directions. The local pub was an old world pub with good food and friendly service, just a short walk from Stafford House.

Absolutely amazing!
Absolutely loved our stay, Hazel and Ian really made us feel welcome and truly go the extra mile. Gorgeous surroundings, amazing room and lots of care and thought given into providing a 1st class accommodation. Cannot fault anything, breakfast made to order and out of this world, highly recommend staying here and will be returning.

Great place to stay
Stafford House proved to be a great place to stay for a few days visiting one of our children nearby. A really warm welcome from Hazel, everything we could need provided in the room, amazing breakfasts, room/bathroom perfectly clean. We can wholeheartedly recommend Stafford House, and we would happily stay here again in the future.

Made a return trip to this beautiful spot. Never miss a stay of I am in the area. There are so many features and conveniences that I notice new ones each stay. This time it was induction phone chargers. Continuous improvement.
