Hotel overall was "tired" looking. All a bit dated. Food was OK and restaurant looked was bright and airy. Bar was little and pokey. Averall not a bad place just tired.

It is advertised as dog friendly and our room certainly was, doors opened onto a large garden, perfect for our dog. The room was large, bed comfortable. However dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, you are expected to eat in the bar. This wasn’t a problem until we realised that there were only low tables in the bar, impossible to eat from. The staff soon sorted the issue and set up a proper dining table in the bar. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both decent quantity and quality. I used the pool which was not busy at all, spa provided towels, I would say changing area could be updated.

Staff weren't very helpful when an issue was presented to them and just shrugged it off like it was a regular occurrence. Decor is old and needs a refresh. Terrible WiFi signal. A basic evening meal of Haggis starters, grilled chicken breast main and a small glass of sparkling water was over £30 !!!

Good hotel, 18 minutes from Knockhill Circuit.
I was at Knocckhill raace trackj for 3 days. So two nights in Best Western. The hotel is fine - although a bit tired. I didn't use the spa as didn't have time. Nor did i use the restauarnt as i was collected both eveneing s to go out to dinner and nor did have breakfast as I ate breakfast at the track. The room was fine. Just a bit dated. The shower was not very powerful and there was little hot water in the early evening. The morning was ok for hot water. Usual question - would i stay there again. That is a Yes, I would.

I was supposed to stay for 13days but due to unforseen conditions I could not. I informed the lady at reception about this on check in. She said that expedia needs to contact them. Expedia did where they were told that they cannot refund the last 5 days that I will not be staying. On the second day I informed the receptionist that the wifi router by my room is faulty as it looses connetion every 30seconds. Maintance did not look at it. On day 3 I reported it again and uptill my last day maintance did not fix it. The rooms are very average. My blankets does not even fit my bed it was too small. I will be staying elsewhere from now on.

My stay was wonderful; the staff and service was amazing; the facility was a bit of gorgeousness out in the Scottish countryside. The food was excellent! (My only slight negative was that the carpet in the entryway and in the rooms was a bit dingy).

This hotel was lovely and clean. All the staff were very friendly and lovely people which made our trip. The breakfast was really good and the hotel swimming pool and spa was absolutely stunning and clean. I would love to stay there again in the future

Country hotel with history and lovely staff
Excellent country hotel with a single 7kW charger, lovely staff. We were slightly late for dinner and one of us reached by bus and it was 10 minute walking distance from the bus stop.

The pool was not open and we was not informed. Also, I ordered the beef with mushrooms and specifically asked for no mushrooms but received them anyway. Luckily, I was not allergic but very well could have been.

Booked for my husbands 40th birthday treat. Plan was Spend a few hours relaxing in the at the spa then booked a table for dinner later. But when we arrived note on front desk saying that spa was closed till Monday. Not impressed at all. Not an email from anyone before our arrival to warn us spa would be closed. If i had known would have moved my booking to when it was open. Still happy to take my money thou for a hotel stay and use of facilities. Very disappointed especially when this was a birthday treat.
