After traveling majority of the day. We check in and immediately start having issues with our key cards. We proceed to get in our room only to find it dirty. There was hair on the bed, an ant on it and trash on the floor. The front desk was nice but pretty much told us there was nothing she could do about it and didn’t have another room for us. We had to check out and find a new place to stay. Almost a week later and I’m still trying to get a refund from them.

Great location for staying in the McKinney/NE Dallas metro. Easy access to the interstate. Hotel is newer and clean. Buffet breakfast was very good, but could use more seating on the busy weekend. Parking was good, just don’t forget your parking tag. Plenty of shopping, food, and entertainment options near by. During our stay our shower door leaked water onto the floor. Asked our three other traveling couples and they had the same problem to varying degrees. This caused us to ask for more towels. We did not get towels. Three days with a wet floor towel on the floor. Again minor, but we should have had towels. The pool area was also out of towels. When asked about this we were told “they were in the dryer”. They said this for two days. Let’s hope the dryer issue or towel issue is fixed.

The tv was broke they came to reset it but it still didn’t work. Ants were on the bathroom floor, toilet and in the area to make coffee. Breakfast was ok not many options for vegans.

As previous reviews mention, this hotel seems to have problems with ants in the room. I killed several ants in the bathroom and throughout my room. I was on the 3rd floor, so I definitely wouldn’t expect an ant infestation. Also they need to have house keeping dust the headboards. Gross thick build up.

You most likely can do better

The trip started off ok with check in but upon entering our room we found that the tv didn’t work. No big deal and the Front Desk receptionist tried to help but was unsuccessful so she said she put in a ticket for the maintenance guy. They never showed up to fix it. Not the end of the world but helps with the kids. Then we discovered the room had ants that just got worse by the end of stay. This was probably also to the fact that housekeeping never once came to our room.
