Prince Gate provided a warm welcome at reception and during our stay. The hotel is in great condition & our room is nicely appointed. A nice touch last night was a pianist playing in the entry. when we returned from dinner. Overall the hotel lived up to its 4.5 rating.

Beautiful, quaint and historical hotel. Loved the verandah and the stairs leading down to the lounge area. Nothing negative to say about our stay. Aria was a real sweetie and very hospitable in the bar and dining area, as were all the other staff.

Lounges are very comfortable with nice ambiance. The outdoor hot pools are something special as is the private pool and sauna. The location cannot be better - within walking distance of most attractions. Rooms are basic, but adequate

The staff were very friendly and always very helpful. Our room was a bit different to what was shown on the photos. It was dated and required both a heater and the aircon on to keep the room warm. The bed was comfortable and overall the room was clean. I think it’s best for this hotel to share more photos of their rooms so that guests know that some rooms are very different to others. Or at least ask for a modern shower when you book as ours was an old bathtub with a very old fixed head shower where in the photos it showed a modern new shower and bathroom. The lobby area and lounge was very nice to sit and relax in by the fire.
