Family-Friendly Convenience and Comfort at Mercure
We have stayed at the Mercure Hotel a couple of times, and it never disappoints. Its location, right next to Central Station and Railway Square, makes commuting with kids incredibly convenient. Whenever possible, they’ve accommodated our requests for early check-in, which helps us relax and feel well taken care of. The extra-comfy beds and the breakfast buffet with its wide variety of options ensure that everyone in our family is happy and satisfied.

It's all about the location
It's all about the location, proximity to central station, bus stop etc. Not a great area to stay and not a great hotel to stay in. Pillow was flat as a pancake and only one each. One face washer in room. I would only stay there again if I needed to be near the station.

Very conveniently located. One may take the airport train and get off from central station easily. From there it’s just 8 minutes walk to the hotel. Hotel staff is very friendly and cordial and the place is well managed. Highly recommended!

Pool is tiny. Rooms are small but clean and modern. At the right price this is a great hotel for a night or two but it’s by no means a very luxurious hotel. I would definitely stay again at this hotel if the price is under $200.

It was nice
good location, clean room, comfortable beds. We opted to include breakfast, which ended up paying a little extra but it was worth it. We also used the laundry room downstairs, A$4 to wash and another A$4 to dry, had to get changes from the front desk. All is good. One complaint is the elevators are very slow during rush hours. I wish there're more stairs, at least for the first few floors.

The hotel is very close to the Central Station and all of the wonderful restaurants near Chinatown. Very convenient to the Woolworths for groceries and liquor. The King room was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. Will stay again!

I really did like the place, I just feel the exterior pillows need to be cleaned. Not the white sheeted ones the actually throw pillows. They have a slight unpleasant smell. And one of the house keepers isn’t good with detail. The lady with the glasses just wants to get in and get out. She scanned the code on my door with out cleaning it even tho I didn’t leave in time so when I asked for my bed to be made later they had my room listed as clean. So it never got done. The next day I asked her for extra face towels when she cleans my room and she never did it and the bathroom floor still had the leaves we brought in from the park from the day before on the floor. She clearly is in a rush.
