Definitely had the Hard Rock vibe and decor you would expect. Service was mostly pretty good, however the staff didn't ever really jump to address any concerns. We had a King Oceanview Balcony Room. View was quite good (no obstructions). However the room wasn't in great shape (the bathroom door scrapped on the flooring and would catch the bath mat, and the bathroom sink did not drain properly). And the water never gets very hot in the sink or the shower. And the room was generally pretty small.

The room was spacious and clean. Very happy I brought my own pillow because they were very soft. Service overall was quite slow, but some of the servers were great. Also the fact that people are in the restaurant barefoot (inside the restaurant, not outside by the pool) was gross. They enforce people to wear a shirt outside when you’re steps away from the pool grabbing a drink, but you apparently don’t need to actually wear shoes inside? Make it make sense.

I have stayed in several hotels around the world and this is definitively my worst experience.A wore out hotel with tricky fees. Some individuals working in the front desk have not customer service skills The food at the restaurant is terrible and the Coke at the machines is a dirty water. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay at this overpriced, old hotel….you shouldn’t pay more than $100 a day at this “hotel”.
