Negatives: Property is going through a MAJOR renovation. Elevators are shared by guests & construction workers / materials. Parking is located across the street due to construction, but they still charge for parking! Positives: The staff was wonderful! The restaurant food was outstanding. Great views & overall nice property with a great location. Renovated room was very nice.

The property was convenient and the room was very large. The building was being renovated so there was only parking across the big street. I think we were on a renovated floor, but it didn't seem very new. It was okay. There was a lady at check in who tried to schedule us for a [timeshare] presentation! She didn't call it timeshare, but it was for some kind of pitch the next morning. She was still pushing when we said we were leaving early the next morning. No thank you! Not interested! Made our stay seem cheesy. The hotel called us the next day to tell us we left some clothes in the room. That was nice, but it was not ours. Strange.

Everyone went above and beyond for us! Tom had a cake in our fridge for my friends birthday. The staff was kind. Place was clean and we cant wait to come back!

The property is under renovations so it was noisy throughout the day with construction going on in the upper floors. Daytons Beach in general looks like it’s stuck in time. We saw homeless people in the neighborhood and people that looked like they were on drugs. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean enough. I used the gym and it was adequate. The outside area where the pool Is has been renovated and looks Nice. The restaurant breakfast was good but I’m used to staying at holiday inns with a breakfast buffet. I’m Thinking they may not use the buffets because of either construction or stragglers may enter that they cannot keep track of. The beach here is rough.

Holiday Inn Daytona Beachside 2024

I booked the room at the Daytona beach holiday inn through you . No where did it say the were under construction.. starting at 8 am everyday the construction notices started . Drilling, jackhammers . We're from CA and we're still on that time zone. Tough to sleep . We were in room 216. We would get to hotel around 10pm after spending time with family . Doors opening and closing! People talking loudly in the hall . It was not a pleasant stay . I asked the front desk about it and was told that remodeling was posted on their site . The lobby, restaurant and outside pool area was nice and tidy but you couldn't enjoy due to construction.

Great one night stay

We were in Daytona for an overnight stay to attend my brother's 50th Birthday party. The check in was quick and the lobby was neat. They are currently renovating,but it's not messy at all, a few areas are taped off, again nothing major. We had a balcony with an Incredible view of the beach, tiki bar and fire pit area. Will definitely plan to stay again for longer .

I killed at LEAST 3 roaches in my room!The staff/housekeepers were extremely loud in the morning as if guests weren’t in their rooms sleeping.I could literally hear their entire conversations,accents & all.ALL the ice machines were broken.It was the worst hotel experience I ever had.I will not be goin back & I most certainly do bot reccomend it.

The pictures of the property show you a nice and update hotel, however it is being remodeled as of 11/24/24, the room was nice but it was dated, the room did have an ocean view but the windows are so dirty that it was hard to see out of it. The service was actually great and it was a great value, I just wish the pictures of the room were more accurate. The lobby does look exactly like the pictures

I enjoyed everything about this property but the only thing is that in check in, I was given a room and key to another guests room. I understand it was a mistake but the safety of me and that guest was compromised and left a really negative first impression.
