We recently booked a stay at this hotel, but to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. First off, the entire property appears to be a construction zone, with dust and debris all over the place. It became clear pretty quickly that the hotel should not be open to guests in its current state.
The room we were assigned was far from what we expected. It was dirty, with visible dust and grime everywhere. The bedding looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned. To make matters worse, the sink in the “dinette” wasn’t even hooked up to water! It just sat there, unusable, without a drain or any way to get water out of it. The baseboard hadn’t even been installed. We felt like we had walked into an unfinished building site rather than a hotel.
As if the room issues weren’t bad enough, the elevator was also broken, forcing us to lug our bags up several flights of stairs. After seeing the condition of the place, we decided we could not stay the night.
Thankfully, the one saving grace was Alaina, the front desk associate. She was incredibly understanding and helpful. After explaining our concerns, she quickly processed a refund without any hassle. She was the only positive aspect of the entire experience.
If you’re considering staying here, don’t! Until they finish construction and address the cleanliness issues, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble.
