Great view, excellent room

This place was romantic and just wonderful. The room was big with high ceilings, a fireplace, and an excellent view of Depoe Bay. If you're looking for a romantic getaway I'd recommend it!

Lovely hotel with great views

Lovely older hotel right on the bay, with gorgeous views and a friendly staff. Little bit of trouble figuring out how to get heat in my room--turns out there is a hidden panel in the simulated fireplace you need to activate--but once I figured thst out as well as the wall heater, had a very cozy stay, listening to the winter storms pound against the windows. First floor had reasonable accessibility for wheelchairs, although if you come here and don't need accessibility I'd recommend asking for a second floor room. You'll still have beautiful views from the balcony--the ground floor room had so many bay watchers peering in my window that I finally shut the blinds for privacy. Small warning for wheelchairs or people who can't do stairs: The ground floor is accessible, but the hotel office is not. You'll likely need to bring a companion for checkin/checkout, or call the front desk in advance to assist. Suggestion: Tidal Raves, a small seafood restaurant with good food, friendly staff and incredible views, is an easy walk from the hotel.

Perfect location to refresh your soul at the coast. Continental breakfast was plentiful and so many options. Cute place, thin walls or maybe just loud speaking neighbors.

It's all about the view ( and that's ok)

The view here is amazing. Our unit had big picture windows in living/ kitchenette area that looked out on Depot Bay. The sunset and sunrise were unbelievable with crazy light even on mostly gray Dec.days. Unit themselves are old and probably could use some updating but are clean and pretty comfy. The staff who checked us in was friendly and enthusiastic and even helped us open the windows. Fell asleep ( and woke up) to the sounds of waves. Makes for a very peaceful sleep.

The Inn at Arch Rock was more than prepaired for the intense weather we experienced. Because of the cyclone storm, they had propane heaters, battery candles, flashlights and gallon water bottles in ea. room. Great planning for high winds, heavy rain, and power outages. Unable to serve their usual hot breakfast, they made sure noone went hungry. You guys rock! Eileen Stapp

We were there for our 50th wedding anniversy, we went to watch the whales however it rained, we were happy to have a view and to watch the waves hit the shore, and we were able to see a blow hole as well. Newport and Lincoln City were close by. We went to the Aqurium in Newport and loved it. Thank you for a great place to enjoy for our anniversary.

Adequate accommodations in a spectacular setting. If you stay here, be sure you walk or drive to the top of the hill in the surrounding residential area and access the public trail along the rocky coast. Incredible view of waves breaking against the rocks.
