Welcome to the Beach!

Unit 203 greets you with a one-of-a-kind mural of the beach, painted by the owner. This mural stretches the length of the entry hallway. Other unique artwork is found throughout the unit.

You can experience breathtaking Gulf views while preparing dinner in the fully equipped kitchen which features granite countertops and new cabinets. A smiling whale and an interesting frog are part of the unique artwork you will enjoy throughout the rest of the unit.

As you enter the living room you will be greeted by a large carving of a crane. Cranes are prevalent in the area. It is possible you will see them during your stay here.

The sofa features a built-in charging spot for your phone and a chaise section with storage for the bedding for the queen-size sleeper. The headrests are adjustable for a lower or higher profile to suit your likes. By lifting up on the back the armless chair, it turns into a comfy chaise. A curious Pelican keeps a watchful eye over the painting of a rustic boat and the rest of the room.

Delightful pictures of children playing at the beach and on the bayou are bound to bring a smile as you relax in the light airy bedroom.

In the adjoining bathroom, wall hangings of a Volkswagen bus and an Adirondack chair bring back memories of times gone by.
Unit 203 completed new duct work in Spring of 2025 and replaced the AC unit as well as the hot water unit.


Unit 203 is located near the west end of the building, allowing you to relax in the shade in the late afternoon on your own private balcony which has a high patio table with swivel chairs. In the morning you will enjoy the breathtaking sunrises, along with wonderful Gulf and beach views.

Nearby stairs allow you quick access to the beach without waiting for an elevator - It is just steps away!

Holiday Surf and Racquet Club unit #203 accommodates up to 4 people with a King bed and a Queen sofa Sleeper. It has just a 3 night minimum stay year round.

Nice property. The only issue I had was kitchen pans weren’t very good, and there were no cookie sheets. Otherwise, a very nice property right on the beach. Loved the view from our room.

Run down...

Unit 203 needs serious attention. Trash in room when we entered, chunks of wall missing, mattress on sofa bed is about 2 inches thick and falls through springs when you lay on it. Jenky shower head with shotty pressure and even worse hot water supply. Weird looks like hand cut out sticker decorations in bathroom, they changed the beach chair procedure twice while we were there, the balcony screen door is really hard to open because of the disintegrating frame, the rub they describe in listing is actually filthy and matted to itself on ends, the beach and water had tons of trash washing up and hitting you in legs while in water. Because the beds both suck(bedroom one is hard and leaves you feeling bruised) we never had a good nights sleep. I have photos of everything detailed here so hit me up! Don't stay here!!

Great room balcony view, easy beach access from the stairs. Could use a update, kind of has the "landlord" special with lots of things painted over and caulked up. Also someone else mentioned there was a few bugs that came out of the baseboards at night. Not sure what they were but needs to be looked at. Overall space and location was nice, I would probably stay again if it got updated a bit!

I had about 4 properties in mind when I was looking for a place to stay during a short vacation to celebrate my best friend's birthday. I decided on this one and I'm so very glad I did. The unit was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. The only negative was the pull-out sofa. It has definitely seen better days and is 100% unusable to sleep on. But everything else was perfect. GREAT views. Very quiet location. It was perfect. I would highly recommend this unit (and Holiday Surf & Racquet club in general) to anyone who is looking for an alternative to hotels or high-rise condos.

Good family location

We came to Destin for our first time to switch it up from our normal destination of gulf shores. As a side note, if you’re a cyclist, this is not the town to visit. Locals in this town do not like cyclists. That’s about the only reason we wouldn’t come back. The room was great. Location was good. The walk to the beach was nice and short. I liked this room because it was located further out on the building vs inward by the pool so you had a better view of the beach and didn’t have the loudness that comes with being close to pools. I’d recommend any room 1-4 on the lower levels. So this room was perfect. Would recommend for your stay!

Had an overall nice stay. The place looks nice with a few updates. The negative would be the couch pull out mattress, there is no way anyone could possibly sleep on that mattress. So, it really shouldn't be listed as sleeping 4 people.

The unit location for us was great. It made beach and parking lot access quick and easy. The keypad was confusing at first. It wouldn’t open entering just what was on card. A key had to be pushed to initiate the process. Then when leaving we had to push the check mark so the door would lock after we were on outside. Also we thought the tag system for the beach chairs would be a good system but two different times we had our tag on umbrella and other people were using our setup when we returned to them and we saw two guys arguing over another setup accusing each other of switching/removing tags. Also found a tag in the sand one day that had apparently blown off due to winds that day.

Amazing location - great views and beach access

This was a last minute trip for our family fall break. We wanted to be on the beach with an ocean view and this definitely delivered on those two fronts. We loved being only in the 2nd floor With easy steps access and close proximity to the beach and pool. The tennis courts and shuffle board were fun too! The property overall was great and very clean. The actual condo is quite dated. Don’t rely on sleeping one or two people on the fold out couch - it is terrible. It may be the worst I’ve seen. The furniture was not comfortable at all. The decor was dated. It would have been just as easy for them to not have any decor with fresh paint. The balcony furniture was worn and difficult and uncomfortable to sit on. We would stay at this property again but we would be much more selective in the actual unit we choose.

amazing place to stay. I do think the owner can spring for another sleeper sofa. That one was killer. If it has been longer than the weekend, not sure I could have slept on longer. Also the place is totally beautiful, but he bathroom does not reflect the overall beauty of the place It needs an update. Getting the negative out of the way, the place is beautiful with the right beach touches and the location is perfect!! It is truly steps form the beach.

Amazing Stay! we will DEFINITELY be back! 🥰

The condo was just as pictured. It was very clean and nicely appointed. The whole process was seamless. The view was spectacular, the convenience of being on the second floor was great too, because we didn’t have to use the elevators. Bed was super comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We were even able to walk down to watch the fireworks at the harbor on Thursday night! The beach service was a nice bonus too! Will recommend to everyone and will definitely be back!
