The property was in a quiet location just what we want. The staff were lovely with great service and the menu had a great selection of choices.
We had a lovely room with a view over rural fields.
Would highly recommend.
Fantastic stay with beautiful views of Dartmoor and extremely friendly and helpful owners.
Food was lovely for breakfast and dinner and had a great choice of local beer!
Will definitely be back!
Nice country public house with welcoming hosts and staff. Food excellent. Freshly cooked breakfast a great start to the day. Dog friendly room. Amazing countryside views from room.
The access road is very narrow, single lane for a long time. I probably wouldn't have gone if I'd known as I was just after somewhere to sleep for one night.
Once there it was lovely though and the bed was very comfy. Beautiful surroundings, lovely host. Very quiet. Everything you want from a place to sleep for the night.
I loved it at The Tradesman’s Arms and will be back. On arrival, was given a lovely welcome and my room was clean, quiet and very comfy. The bed was really comfy! The food was great and reasonably priced. I will be back! Thank you.
Kevin and Sue are the perfect hosts. The pub is ideally located both for walkers and other visitors to Dartmoor. I was walking the Two Moors Way with a friend. Kevin welcomed us at the door and we were instantly at home. Our room was spacious, clean with very comfortable beds. Power shower took a little adjusting but was fine when mastered. Food was good and beer was excellent. Location was very good, actually on the trail.
I was greeted with a very courteous and friendly welcome and shown to a very clean and comfortable room. I enjoyed an excellent home cooked meal in the evening in the dining room with panoramic views over the Dartmoor countryside. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that my stay was as pleasurable as possible, should the need arise to work in this area again I would not hesitate to return.

We have stopped overnight at the Tradesmans arms in Scorriton before and have not been disappointed. The location is isolated in a delightful small village with stunning views. The accommodation, food and hospitality is really good. The atmosphere created by the many local residents when the pub is open supporting the business says it all.
My wife and I were given a warm welcome and we were shown to our room. We were not disappointed. Freshly decorated, lovely TV set, comfortable beds, newly fitted-out bathroom. The evening meal and beer was very good and we enjoyed being made to feel like a local. Very quiet location, with a country setting but not far from the main roads. The breakfast was very good. A small pointer for the future would be to put the toast on a separate plate.
