The pictures make it look pretty fancy, the lobby and restaurant are pretty nice but the rooms need serious upgrades. It’s quite loud. Something slammed against the wall during the nights- twice seemed like someone was being thrown against the wall!
The family rooms are pretty small- they just give 2 beds vs one. That’s just a standard room, not a family room.
The gal that checked us in was lovely. She helped get us moved away from the door right by the elevator (and I mean it was right next to it). The restaurants were nice, buffet breakfast is huge. FYI - they bring you the food, and they bring double sized portions, so take this into account when ordering, a couple can share one of most of the breakfast selections. It was a great breakfast and service was wonderful.
shops and restaurants are a short walk away. The gym is ok, but also needs upgrades and fans!
Also, if you’re not familiar with this rule, the pool requires swim caps- as Americans we didn’t know this was a thing! Also the lifeguards were kind of jerks. My kids didn’t realize they weren’t allowed to be in the hot tub. The way they told my daughter was “ are you 16?”. Come on! You can nicely let her know you have to be 16, don’t be a sarcastic jerk to a kid. She didn’t even understand what he was getting at!
