The motel looked old but the staff was friendly and my room was spacious and clean. When we arrived, the restaurant was unavailable due to a private party (it was packed with dressed people) but the staff kindly recommended some restaurants in downtown Ridgeway. We went to a nice restaurant which was within a five-minute drive from the motel. Breakfast was prepared at 6:30 am. It was milk, orange juice, bread, and cereals. The motel is a 40-minute drive from the Elk Country Visitor Center. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience.

We really loved this place! For an inn built in 1962 it is so well kept and wonderfully original. Very homey. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar had the best prime rib dinner we've ever had. We plan to go back any chance we get.

It was like stepping back to 1955. The decor of the entire place was like stepping back into the 50's or 60's. The furniture in the rooms was in dire need of updating. One of the chairs wiggled every time you sat in it. The bathroom was bizarre, sink in the hall, toilet and shower were on the other side of the door, and were so crowded you pretty much had to stand in the shower to close the door. Everything seemed clean, but very old. The Continental breakfast consisted of single wrapped Danish that were stale and dry, single serve boxes of cold cereal, bread that was already pretty dry for making toast, coffee, tea and orange juice. The only source for heat was a small electric space heater. In general, I felt like I stepped into a time warp from 1955

The check in was easy, I showed up a day late and they were very accommodating- no charges for days I reserved but didn’t use. I was working nights and got good sleep during the day. I’ll stay again next time.

Bare bones cheap place to crash while travelling. AC was the newest thing in the room and worked great. Everything else needs updating. Room decor vintage 80’s. Would have been nice to more pillows; provided ones were thin and I didn’t sleep well.

Old time motel
It is a lovely old time motel. It was clean. Make sure you ask for first floor if you can’t do stairs as there is no elevator so you have to haul your belongings up two flights of stairs.

Old school, classic motel stay.
A bit dated, but clean. Checkout was old school with no night desk. I left early in the morning, and the office was locked up, harkening back to the past, which caught me off guard. Just be aware if you stay. It was a fine stay, though.

Went into the room and it wasn't very clean, the next day they took out towels and never replaced them. There breakfast was coffee, danish and that's it. The place could use a update.

Stayed for just one night. The room was clean. The bed was king size with clean sheets. We stayed in the rooms at the rear. The area around looked run down and needs to be spruced up. The breakfast options were rather limited. The owner was good to leave the keys where we could find it as we arrived very late.
