It was amazing, the front staff was great and had a little shop with snacks in lobby instead of vending machines. I forgot to grab supper one night and it was late and was hungry after swimming so purchased a frozen pasta dinner from there which I cooked in my room microwave and was very good! I checked out the pool and hot tub that night which was nice and spacious and open till 11pm! Good location near other hotels and next door is a Delta hotel and a bus stop(3min walk) that goes straight to West Edmonton Mall. The bus stops at Southgate Mall on the way so easy to transfer to another bus or LRT if going downtown. It's a super quick ride (6-10min) from Southgate to downtown. I felt safe in the area and there was a Starbucks about 10min walk from hotel and Superstore right beside the Starbucks if you want to get snacks/food. The room had microwave and fridge and coffee machine/tea. Very happy with my stay will definitely stay there again!

Staff was very professional and polite. Rooms were big and the beds were very soft and comfortable. It’s an older building with lots of character and charm that you don’t see in newer buildings. Once they are finished renovating it will be absolutely beautiful. I will definitely stay again when I am in Edmonton.

I really liked the peacefulness of the room. I wish the coffee bar was open, but hotel construction is a necessary frustration! Our Terrace Room for the class I attended was excellent. The only request I would have is to ensure the staff move the coffee table to vacuum under it prior to a new guest checking in.

When we started checking in, the fire alarm bells started to ring very loudly. The front desk staff, provided ear plugs. Our room, on the second floor, had a small balcony patio and the balcony doors had a very secure lock. The Pool, Sauna and Hot Tub times were great. We did notice that the room was missing any information as to its location and times. Any of our requests were quickly addressed. The hotel did have some ongoing construction, which sometimes made for confusion when using outside doors and some stairwells.

I didn’t like the pricing. They charge you different prices each day for the room everyday including GST and PST which should be charged at the end of the stay. Breakfast was horrible. Service wasn’t good either. I can NEVER recommend anyone to stay there. Only thing that was positive about the hotel was the underground parking. Other than that the room charges are daylight robbery.
