A wonderful experience, that deserves a thank you and a great review. The Shoreline staff was incredible. Owen especially made the evening special for everyone. The restaurant/bar manager, Chris, was a contributing member of the team. The supportive leadership really shows. An overall pleasurable stay in a great location and views. The hotel overbooks rooms in the hope that people don't arrive. They then send them to a hotel more than 10 minutes away and make them get an uber to get there. The hotel they send people to is not at all the same level of hotel as the one booked. They are completely unapologetic about this practice and said they oversold the hotel that night by at least six rooms and this happens all the time. I would not recommend booking this hotel unless you are okay being told when you get there that you have to take an uber to another hotel 10 minutes away.

We had to pay $15 a night to park in the parking lot, on Saturday 11/17 there was an event at the convention center and we couldn't find a place to park. We never got housekeeping services during our 3 night stay. We did not put a sign on the door to skip us either, had to ask for extra towels each day. The mattress was so hard, my hips, back and shoulder hurt so bad each morning. Very disappointed, when I checked out, I told the clerk I would submit my issues via the site for assistance as I knew she could not assist.

It was such a beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable beds. Restaurant food was delicious. Has a Starbucks inside property. Loved it . Will stay again

Loved the lakeside view. If construction wasn't going on at the time we were there we could have walked several places. Overall a great place!

This hotel used to be the most premier in the area but unfortunately it has gone downhill fast. The location is beautiful and so is the facility, but the upkeep and service has unfortunately severely declined. This hotel was our go-to stay anytime we visited Erie, we even held our wedding reception here. However, after our most recent stay in 2024 we be seeking out somewhere else in the future for our visits to Erie. The room was dirty, with large visible stains on the duvet covers and shower curtain. There was dark hair left from a previous guest on the white sheets and pillowcase. When we tried to phone the front desk to request new linens we realized the phone in the room also did not work. So we went to the front desk and were provided new sheets to change the bed ourselves, but additional duvet covers were not available so we were told to use the extra blankets provided for cots and pull-out couches. When we returned to the room, we realized the bath tub did not drain, and the water would not get hot. So we trekked back downstairs and they finally offered us a new room. This room appeared to be cleaner, but it was still lacking the premium quality feel it did at our previous stays. The parking and food offered onsite are nice and convenient, however given the current state of the hotel it feels overpriced and unnecessary to still be paying extra for these services at this location. Overall very disappointed and will not be returning.
