The room was very good but the bathroom had no comfort. It was like walking into a public lavatory. For some reason it was a disability style bathroom. I'm not disabled but if I was, the sliding door would have been a struggle to open. I'm very fit and healthy and even I struggled to open the sliding door. Very disappointing.

Overall the hotel is in great shape and the staff are professional and helpful. The restaurant/bar is great and breakfast has a good variety of options for a hotel of it’s category. We’ve used the SPA which was also great. The only thing I believe could be better is the size of the double bed and quality of the sofa bed which was not the most comfortable and very noisy.

They had a wedding during our stay and apparently nothing else can take place when there’s a wedding because we waited more than 30 minutes and the chef and yet to start our breakfast order. So we canceled it. They were also painting the hallway walls during this time, so you had to be careful not to lean on anything. Half their menu was “unavailable” when ordering food

Friendly staff. Poor mattress that felt old and well worn, and dried soap stains found in the sink on arrival. Our main issue was constant railway noise for a few hours overnight and what we assume was overnight engineering work which we'd not been made aware of in advance. Overall a significantly disrupted night's sleep, and a notable dip in enjoyment compared to a couple of other recent nights here.

My room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, iron, desk and tea/coffee facilities. The restaurant breakfast was good with a variety of foods but unfortunately the dinner was not edible. The coleslaw was dry on top with a pool of water at the bottom of the pot and the burger was tasteless and wet. All the staff were helpful and friendly.
