Atmosphere, surroundings, warm welcome, friendly staff. The pub's grounds are a hidden treat, and the walk to Scott's Quay, the crickets, an absolute joy
Lovely little place. Clean Comfy Room, Great food and drink and super friendly staff. Gets busy in the evenings so perhaps not somewhere for the traveller who wants an early night. Nice walk down to Scotts Key from the reception.
Gunna be completely honest about it when we first arrived i was dissapointed as it was nothing like i expected and said to my wifey we should have booked a travel lodge.now all being said first impressions can be wrong.we went to falmouth to get something to eat and do shops went back stayed the night.in the morning we had breakfast which was outstanding and had a chance to look around and completely fell in love with the place, the staff, the location, the owner's, the grounds just cannot say enough about the place i will definitely be staying again and recommending to every person i know.the pictures and reviews you see on any of the travell sights including this one dos'nt do it justice.loved it.
We had a 2 night stay at Trengilly Wartha. The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend the hotel. We will be back!
The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The food was out of this world it was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was superb.
The hotel staff were very helpful.
Although, it was a busy night in the restaurant, and there were mistakes ... these were rectified without any fuss and very amicably.
The room was fine, the breakfast superb ...
I would definitely stay again if in that part of Cornwall, unfortunately my next visit is likely to be on the north coast in Hayle.
We really enjoyed our stay whilst exploring the local area.
The Trengilly Wartha Inn is set in a remote secluded setting nestling in shrubbery. Totally idillic. The staff were warm and friendly. The food was good and well presented.
Fabulous spot in a beautiful part of the country. We stay for 3 nights and our room was comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Ate there every evening and the food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful
It was an amazing place to to stay amazing staff and friendly. The food was amazing to what more could you ask for It was about 40min from st Ives and st Michael mount easy to explore the area. We will be back soon
Out stay at trengilly wartha inn was delightful the staff were very nice and friendly the rooms immaculate the food was very tasty fresh and local itshould have Michelin stars we have recommended to family and friends we will definitely be staying here again
Just back from a few days at Trengilly and thought I would leave a review. This place is well off the beaten track, so if you want easy, perhaps this is not for you. However, if you make the effort you will find a wonderful and very old hotel, that offers something different. It’s not modern inside either, but you can feel the history in the walls of the building. If you like food, you have come to the right place, the standard is excellent with both breakfast and evening meals being cooked and presented superbly; deserts are to die for. There is a decent selection of beers/ ales to choose from. We stayed in room three, which is an adequate size. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, even the pillows (yes I checked below the covers). It’s dog friendly but does not smell of dog. We were surprised by the amount of ‘locals’ as this place is in the middle of nowhere, which tells you about the atmosphere and service. Overall we had a great few days and I would recommend this hotel/pub to anyone who fancies a change from the bland, modern hotels.
Will and Lisa the owners, Emily the manager and all there staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
We were made very comfortable on every level, wonderful breakfast and evening meals. Very comfy bed, basic room lovely bath and power shower.
Very pet friendly and our two dogs had a fab time with wonderful nearby walks. Idyllic setting and very environmentally friendly large gardens.
