The room was ok, although some of the light switches and lamps were a little inconsistent with actually working. Also, the shower was weird and dripped all night no matter which setting you had it on as did the toilet when you flushed (from the top of the tank, almost like the pressure was too high).
When it comes to cleanliness, the room was clean but the hallways reeked of old, stale frying oil. I almost gagged on my way to and from the elevator every time.
Finally, the front desk was poorly manned and the people weren't very helpful or friendly. I was waiting a good 10 minutes or so trying to check in behind a little girl who just wanted some toilet paper. I have no idea how long she was standing there, but from her body language, it'd been a good few minutes. She also wasn't helpful when it came to giving directions and acted like I already knew where everything around town was. Check out was just as bad as the only information I received on it at check in was what time I had to bout out by. I waited another 10 -15 minutes for someone to even appear behind the desk, which was very frustrating as I was on my way to a class. She barely gave me the time of day when she did appear and apparently all I had to do to check out was tell her my room number. No key drop or anything else.
