Had a lovely stay at the Hillsboro by Sonder. Could not ask for a better location, right on the beach. Parking is an additional $25 per day, valet. The room was large and very comfortable and equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave and a safe. Ask for an ocean view room… It is beautiful. The only downside was very cheap toilet paper, so bring your own if that is important to you. Lovely pool area, and covered veranda with chairs and sofas.

The property was under construction. There was constant jack hammering from 9Am-4Pm. The rooms vert very small. Hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. The hotel restaurant was overpriced and all beach and bike rentals went through them. The hotel was very clean and as I said the staff was very professional.

NO FRILLS hotel No bottled water if you're thirsty, no coffee unless the little on premise restaurant decides to open, turn down service only if you request it 24 hours in advance, ran out of the pump soap in the shower first day, no one replaced, gym was pathetic, no parking unless you valet for $25 per day Other than that and the 3 foot wide beach, it as fine

Excellent stay! I needed a quiet , clean and updated getaway and this was perfect. The sound of the ocean in the morning having a cup of Lavazza espresso ( machine & pods in room) was ideal. The ONLY complaint would be the $25 per day parking fee other then that it was PERFECT
