My recent stay at this hotel was quite disappointing due to a number of issues. The check-in process was notably slow, with only one staff member available to assist with both check-ins and various guest issues, such as non-existent TVs and non-functional remote controls. Although the front desk clerk was courteous, she was visibly overwhelmed, which impacted the service.
The hotel itself feels dated, and the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Dust and particles were visible on most surfaces and the floor, and the glass was smudged and dirty. Additionally, several electrical outlets in the room were inoperative, which was inconvenient.
Concerns about safety were heightened by a malfunctioning door lock—my only security was the door latch. I felt extremely unsafe while in the elevator and hoped it didn't breakdown while I was utilizing it. Moreover, the presence of a roach in the bathroom was particularly distressing and prompted me to check out after 20 mins and request a refund.
Overall, this was the most unsatisfactory hotel experience I have ever encountered, and I believe significant improvements are necessary to meet basic hospitality standards.
