Very good

Lovely clean modern house. I booked a single and although the room was small the bed was a small double and very comfortable. Shower room a bit small but perfectly adequate.Breakfast was good and freshly cooked with toast but no yogurt or brown bread on offer. On the down side there was no tea making facilities in room. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return.
The proprietor was very nice and obliging. We had to leave early for a flight and would miss breakfast. He offered to make us sandwiches to bring with us. The hotel was very clean, and the regular breakfast was excellent. However, we had the family room and it was extremely small. There was room for the beds and not much else. Very little room to move around. Additionally, the shower stall was very small.
The hosts were wonderful. They were there to answer our questions and served a wonderful full Irish breakfast. If it were just for their hospitality, I would give 110% to this review.
The downsides to our stay:
The room and ensuite bathroom were quite small. It was difficult moving around while we were there.
The neighborhood was noisy. There were crowds of people laughing and partying well into the night.
Very quaint little spot! The bathroom in our room was extremely small but it worked for what we needed! The owner was extremely kind and helpful. His breakfast was the best! The only thing I want to note is that a lot of people said it was within walking distance to city center and it was not, but the bus was €2 to get to town and we didn't mind too much. Also very close to Merlins Pub which was a great spot for a pint!

Decent B&B with good breakfast
We had a decent stay at the Branches. Our room was small but clean and tidy. The one thing that we didn't like was that our bathroom was not an ensuite, it was the room next to ours. When we asked if other guests would be using the bathroom, he said probably not as the other rooms all had ensuites. This was the only thing we didn't like about our stay. The breakfast was good, the price is decent, and it's about a 5 minute drive from downtown Galway. Note that parking in downtown is quite expensive (2 euro per hour) so factor that in to the price vs a downtown hotel with free parking.
Although we were only here for a night, we enjoyed our stay. The B&B is outside of the city, but it has a few restaurants nearby, and it's easy to get to. The room was small but served its purpose -- the bed was quite comfortable, which is not always a sure thing. The bathroom, however, was almost too small to be comfortable -- when you sit on the toilet your knees are literally in the shower. Breakfast was delicious, and Mike was a gracious host and cook.
Perfectly fine B&B. Nice breakfast, 15 min by bus from city center. Seems that every house on the road is a B&B so honestly what differentiates them I don't know. But hosts were nice so I would recommend and stay again. En-suite bathroom was tiny in a national lampoon's European vacation kind of way, but I think that added to the charm. It's not a hotel -things don't need to be perfect and grandiose, just clean, quiet and safe. It's a great value for money.
Very clean, owner very helpful and pleasant. Bed extremely comfortable with a Memory Foam mattress topper. Excellent breakfast. Only complain, no tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom.
We wish we could stay longer, the host is very friendly, attentive and welcoming, he upgraded our room to a ensuite and the complimentary breakfast was so much more than what we expect from B&B. Bed is very comfy, Everything is clean and well kept! Transpotation is very convient, bus 409 takes 10 min to town and stop is right outside the place, Highly recommend!

The bell kept ringing
Some people came in realy late and the bell began ringing 3 am (not constantly) and finally stopt 4 am, when probably the host opened the door. The host can't do much about it, but could maybe search for a solution... Breakfast and service was good.
Very nice people and the breakfast was excellent, reasonably priced and very clean.
Have only one minus and that was the toilet and shower, the smallest I've ever seen literally no space between the toilet and the shower
But the rest made up for it
Perfect place to stay for the price. Its about 10Euro in taxi from city centre and about 15 mins on a bus which goes from the front of the estate. The only issue we had was that there was no place for the shower head to be held so you had to hold it in one hand while showering.
Friendly & helpful couple running this very reasonably priced B&B. Situated in a nice quiet housing estate so noise is not a problem. Only 2 small drawbacks - distance from city centre (10mins by bus) & small room. Ideal if you just need a place to sleep, but would be a bit cramped if more than 2 people per room. Overall great bargain!
Wonderful owners and felt very comfortable at this B&B. Amazing value for the service and accommodation and plan to stay here next time I'm in Galway! Breakfast very yummy as well and quiet street allows for a good night sleep even in the front room!
Great value room. Very friendly owners who were really helpful and welcoming.
It's not The Ritz but was perfect for what I was after. Would recommend staying there and would do so myself.
I've stayed in B&Bs all over Ireland, and I found the Branches to be a totally reliable, clean, welcoming and warm bed and breakfast.
The internet worked fine and the television channels were plentiful.
The room was clean and hygienic, as was the en-suite.
No complaints here.
It's a bit out of the town, so if I had one complaint it would be to be careful of the taxi drivers taking advantage of you, fares wise. It would have been nice if the branches had given us an estimate for what the average ride into town might be - but it's a minor gripe, and more a suggestion. If they'd done this, I'd be happy enough to rate the place as a perfect resort.
The hotel/b&b itself was great. Happy to visit again.
