Front desk was very nice and welcoming. Room was clean and looked well-maintained. It was located in a quiet area and it really looked like the owners really care about the property conditions. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially for families or dog owners.

Good choice for my 1 night in Escanaba.
I needed a hotel / motel in Escanaba for just the one night and this was a good fit. Convenient, comfortable and enough for 1 -- but maybe tight for 2 if my wife had joined. Nice picnic table out front for me to have dinner at. Sunset was beautiful as advertised.

Sunset Lodge is a super cute motel which has obvious pride of ownership and excellent management. Staff was welcoming and friendly. My wife and I appreciated the attention that went into the small details in our room. We will stay here again.

It was right next to a family restaurant, we had the family style chicken and it was delicious. Chicken was moist and tender very good flavor to the breading. It came with coleslaw, dressing mashed potatoes, and very tasty gravy, a roll and a scoop of ice cream for dessert
