Considering the sink had cigarette burns around it, may be a good indication that it’s time to replace it. The mattress was not particularly comfortable, however the best part of the motel is the view which is spectacular.

It was not clear when I booked on-line that the room was facing route 1, with no view and only one window, although we were able to hang out in front with great view. Be aware some rooms are adequate for overnight stay, but lack balcony and view of the bay. Bathroom fan, which came on automatically, was incredibly loud. The heater fan was also very loud, but it didn't run nearly as long and had some control over it. Small staff was clearly working very hard and trying to do their best.

The front desk person informed me on check-in that they only had one person to clean all the rooms that day. There were spiders in the shower. Breakfast was included, but the breakfast items had been sitting there for days. The bread was hard, they had cut up muffins into three slices and had them out.

Room floors were filthy. Our beds did not even have a footboard, exposed bed frames like barracks. There was so much hair on the floor in the bathroom. Not enough seating in the main dining room. Building exterior falling apart. This property does not care and is not well taken care of.

Pick this motel!
This place is a gem! Friendly greeting. Room was great and super clean. And then there is the view from your back patio door! It truly is oceanside, in your backyard. In the evening we watched and listened to the tide rolling in. In the morning we watched the sunrise! I don't normally do reviews, but had to on this motel!
