We have stayed at the phoenician three times before. We were in the same apartment in 2023 and thought it needed some renovation. Back in the same room this stay and the condition of the apartment has deteriorated even more. The cleanness wasn't up to it either. I wonder if this apartment was allocated to us because it booked through a deal but if I booked it myself direct I would have not been happy. Disappointed with this stay. Great location and facilities but rooms really should be upkept.

Very close to the beach, restaurants, trams and Woolies. Apartment had all the amenities to make you feel at home. Would stay here again depending on the price/deal.

The receptionist was so lovely and welcoming, she has been there for 14 years I believe and she was just such a pleasure to deal with. The property was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. It’s quite outdated but to be fair, I think it added character to the building and I still really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back!!

Had a great stay. Apartments are very well positioned in the heart of Broadbeach however it lacks sound proofing so extremely noisy at night. The main bedroom window was unable to be closed so noise was heard all night. Rubbish trucks and builders start at 5:30am so don’t expect a sleep in. Accommodation is a generous size and very clean. It is a little dated and could do with some upgrades but comfortable and lacks nothing in facilities or location to Broadbeach.

We loved the location, very close to lots of restaurants and major shopping centre. The pools, spa and sauna were clean. Our furniture was old, worn and dirty. The shower screen was broken and the aircon leaked water.

The property was in a fantastic location walking distance to local shopping areas, restaurants and the beach. What wasn’t so great was that it was very ran down towel rails falling off. Unpainted walls where they had been patched up in rooms. For the price this was disappointing. But otherwise staff were lovely and very friendly

Easy Broadbeach Access for either Business or Play
A one bedroom apartment was ideal both for its size and northeast aspect. The property sits proudly on a great vibing street providing access to multiple bars and cafes. Spoilt for choice. Transport access was simply the best for up and down the eastern strip.

Apart from the location and the reception desk we would not recommend this accommodation. Problem were 1) the drains were smelly 2) to walk back into the room from outside to odour was vile 3) to walk out of the bedroom each morning the odour was vile 4) shower/bath frame was grotty 5) mould on the shower/bath tiles 6) the light over the vanity was not operational 7) the fan in the bathroom was constantly running 8) the washing machine had an odour 9) bedside light/shade was broken and the light was not operational 10) bedroom tv was not fully operation/lack of programming, even after we requested it be fixed, it was not to any standard and lacked the programnes that was showing on the main tv 11) the was not a/c in any of the lifts and to go between the basement/ground floor to level 8 it was like a sauna, that is why the sliding glass door to the balcony and the windows adjacent were left opening to take the hot air out when arriving on level 8 12) coming from the lift at basement level parking we found ourselves dry reaching with foul odour on that level 13) balcony chairs were dirty and brittle 14) there was thick green/black mould on the balcony hob with weed growth as well 15) limited toiletries were provided (soap,etc) then you had to buy your own. The smelly odour have been mentioned by previous patrons in reviews, but it seems nothing get done to make it better 11)
