Great location and great service
The property is a mix of dated and upgraded facilities(dining). The pool area is in good shape and the pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature. There is a small and very nice protected beach area. If you keep your eyes open you may see the roaming parrot fish. All the meals were well prepared and there is a lot of variety in menu items. Service is spot on. Room (King balcony) was sizable and with a nice view of the inlet. The rooms are a bit dated, however comfortable and kept most of the neighborly noise to a minimum. The resort is a great start point as buses in both directions collect there. A notable item that may a bit for those not use to it are the roaming chickens(and most of the island). You need to be expecting to hear roosters in the morning.

Just for three people one adult and two kids under 12 was $300 a day for the basic food they offered which was exorbitant there were no water sport activities the dive shop was closed and no indoor activities and the rooms were nice but the walls were thin so we heard the guy to the left of us coughing all night the old folks to the right of us arguing all night the small children above us playing all night other than that it was quaint and enjoyable

The new renovations in the hotel were very upscale. The staff, restaurant food were amazing! Top of the line, compliments to the executive chef & his staff., The room Devonshire 316 as we entered lower floor was like heading into a low class dirty peeling apartment…compared to the hotel very disappointed! ( need some renovations or a good cleaning and painting.

Loved the location, the view from our room overlooking the harbor was exquisite. Plenty to do on site, and the bus stop is located at end of driveway. We toured the entire island and loved Grotto Bay as our base camp. Comfortable, friendly and affordable.
