Great bedroom,very comfortable with everything you require. Excellent food and drink, really friendly and professional staff. Noise from adjacent beer garden a problem, last people didn’t leave until just before midnight on Friday and Saturday of our stay. Bedroom path borders beer garden so impossible to avoid noise.

Excellent stay!
Booked this hotel for a one night stay due to a family event in the area. Excellent accommodation. Great service. Staff lovely. Breakfast was great following morning. Highly recommend. If was back in the area again definitely stay again!

Good stop-over
We stopped-over here on our way north. Room was comfortable and staff very helpful, even serving us a nice meal when we ordered just 15 minutes before the kitchen closed.

2 night stay, great room & bathroom. Good bed and linen. Lots of attention to detail. Great staff, helpful and obviously enjoy their job. Food was excellent, something for everyone and really tasty. Well done.

Both dinner and breakfast was excellent made with very good quality products. Room was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. One little niggle was the shower head could do with a clean. The staff were both friendly and very helpful, top marks for them

I absolutely LOVED my stay at The Crown. I was in town to do some ancestry research while on my way to North Yorkshire. I traveled from Texas to London, then took the train to nearby Arlesey. The GM Alex and his team were so very kind to me as I was tired, but excited to be staying at their property. The room was lovely, and came with all the items a traveler could need. Even a flat iron in the room! I also awoke very early, so having the tea and coffee in the room was the best. And, the room fee comes with a full breakfast from 8am to 10am the next morning! You can't beat that! I traveled alone, as a woman and felt completely safe. The soap and shampoo items were also very nice. I was just so impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. I would so recommend staying here and if I'm able to travel back, I will definitely come again! Thank you so much to the team at The Crown!

Excellent room and facilities. Fresh milk daily , water tea and coffee excellent service. Bathroom cleaned and fresh towels daily. Restaurant had a good atmosphere and food very good. Excellent choice of breakfast . Would highly recommend .

What a fantastic stay even though it was just one night!! The bed was very comfortable, the room n bathroom was very clean but the only thing I will say is that the chair could use some tlc and the rug under the bed needs to be professionally cleaned to remove stains. The coffee in the room was delicious but not having an espresso machine, I wasn’t quite sure how to use it. The radiator in the bathroom needs some attention. I had forgotten my charger plug n they very kindly gave me one to borrow. Would certainly recommend it n looking forward to staying again in June and having the amazing quality breakfast. 5*
