Hi there! Here's my experience. I felt that the place had a high price for what it offered. It's not terrible, but it's definitely on the older side. The air conditioning was quite loud, and the fixtures and bedding felt outdated.
The staff was friendly but needed work on the service concept. I was a high school reunion and they told me the name of a person who was staying there. Which I thought was nice. Then I realized, I hoped she was not telling people that 2 ladies were on the 3rd floor. Privacy!
Service issue that I was polite about, but I did expect my room to be cleaned after 2 nights. When I asked if something could be done, the staff member didn't apologize, but instead told me to call the manager. I asked for what? I don't want to argue when I doubt I'll be getting my money back. I just wanted a solution after awkward minutes on the phone, and zero effort was put into problem-solving. So, I had to suggest that I put the trash and dirty towels outside, and they bring fresh towels when they have a moment, and then speak with housekeeping and the manager. Perhaps housekeeping wasn't aware that I was in the room. We can't always assign blame right away. Let's problem-solve. It was not that big of a deal but weird. Service.
