The house will delight many customers. It is heavy on charm, period setting and the place abounds with reminders of Hobart's past.
The garden and breakfast were spectacular, the view from the verandah stunning, and the parking worked pretty well (after issues with the new gate were sorted).
But there's a price to pay, the trade off between charm and personality, and efficiency. The room was relatively small and we felt it. It was cluttered with knick-knacks, there was nowhere to put things, no place for bags.
To change the setting on the heating I had to move a side table, crawl on the floor with a torch on my phone.
There were 2 air-conditioning units immediately under the window and the noise was intrusive.
Corinda obviously delighted many guests, from the comments in the guest book. I guess it depends what you value....
