Very good

Very friendly welcome and the lady who runs the bar was really nice and friendly. However all parties who were staying booked Breakfast at 9am. Only 1 person was taking breakfast orders and doing all the cooking. It was simply too much. It was cold in the morning downstairs. If the fire was lit and there was more hands on board, or breakfast staggered to cope it would have been far better.
We chose this place purely because it has been in Last of the Summer Wine series. The owners had only been in there for 8 months and were still decorating it as it has been closed for a while and was in a terrible condition. The pub was great with lots of the programmes memorabilia and everyone very friendly and popular with the locals. The bedroom was clean and comfortable although not luxurious but with everything needed. We would stay there again.
Very helpful with advice of what to see in area, and following left luggage, could not have been more helpful and prompt with dealing with the problem.
Very friendly and welcoming. The nespresso machine in the room was a real surprise. Excellent breakfast was good and the food in the evening was from a small but very good menu. Wer were made very welcome by the locals and the staff. Going to go back again next year,

Teething troubles
The pub had been closed for a while and just re-opened. TV didn't work so we called for assistance. We were told it was new and had not been autotuned. She put it on autotune but didn't wait to see if it worked. It didn't. In the morning I asked for the wifi password but the owner didn't know it and had to phone her husband, who told us we had to create an I-cloud account to use internet. Breakfast was huge though and kept us going all day. Also it's a nice cosy pub. They just need to sort out a few teething problems - oh and put proper cotton sheets on the bed instead of polyester.
