Disapointing
The hotel looked promising from the outside, though they should have cleaned up all the leaves in the parking lot. The room did not live up to ratings or photos. Very small room, heating didnt work properly ( thermostat way off) , tv kept quitting til I managed to fix it. No fan in outdated bathroom. Bedding was inadeqate. Assorted sad hangers in the closet.Coffee tray sat near the floor on a safe. Fridge was very noisy at times. We would have left if we could have got $ back.

It is a nice, simple property that is well located. My only complaints is that the beds are to close to the wall for early access & the shower head was not working properly.

Nice Motel. Don’t care for 4:00 check-ins but they kindly let us in a bit early. Room is very nice Only problem was that you can hear the occupants above you whenever they walk.

The Sunset Motel is convenient to everything in Hood river. Plus it is close to the freeway. The couple that run the motel are very friendly and helpful. Nice place to stay for a night.
