First and foremost, the staff here were nothing but friendly, which is a rare occurrence these days unfortunately. The grounds are beautiful and our room was clean. The bathroom was strange though, with both a rain shower head and a normal shower head in a small shower. Not sure who thought that was a good idea but cold water constantly drips on your head the whole shower which is less than pleasant. The grout in the shower needs to be redone. I will also say that we found out the hard way that if you book through a their party site, Cheeca does not honor the FL resident discount so if you’re a FL resident looking to stay here, book directly though Cheeca’s site. Overall, we were mostly happy with our stay but not sure we’ll return.

Though I had a conversation with the hotel manager the day after my stay, I can honestly say all I got was lip service. Driving home from the Keys, I noticed that I had a rash on the inside of my right arm and on my right-side of my chest. The manager and I discussed "Bed-Bugs", as I felt that the pillow (I sleep with my arm under the pillow). The rash eventually got so itchy I got cortisone cream, which eased the itch. Its now 8 days from my checkout and the rash is now easing up, but per the convo, all I got is "We take great measures to insure we don't have bed bugs". I've stayed at Chica over the years dozens of times, I guess that's gonna have to change.

forever our favorite place to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The atmosphere, the oceanfront room, the friendly bartender, everything was absolutely perfect! Oh, and not to mention the live music in front of the ocean every afternoon until sunset!! My wife and I had a great time!

We went to Cheeca looking for a relaxing vacation and it absolutely did not disappoint! Everything was beautiful, from our room to the restaurants to the pool and the beach. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. We would love to go back for a future vacation, and seriously cannot recommend this property enough!
