Loved my stay here and will definitely come back! My room had some things that need repaired or updated (like broken blinds and cracks/water damage on the wall under the windows) but barely noticeable really compared to how great everything else was! I had a bottom floor room with a sliding door that goes out to a seating area and ocean view! The ladies at the front desk were super friendly too! The only thing that irked me was on check-out day the cleaning lady was sitting outside my sliding door at 9:30am waiting for me to leave and I felt kind of rushed out of there when I had til 11 to check out!

Love This Place
I’ve been coming to La Siesta for a long time. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I stayed during a hurricane that wasn’t too far away. The staff handled everything in a great way. Had some high winds the first day there and they basically took away anything that could potentially blow away (beach chairs, games, hammock, etc..) and stored it. The next morning once the storm was over everything was put back out for use and resumed as if nothing happened. Very happy with my stay, per usual. Great service. Staff super friendly and informative. I’ll be visiting again next year.

Overall great experience. Things like clogged drains, shabby build quality in the rooms were a minor drawback. With some TLC this could easily be a 4-5 star resort. Especially with such great staff, they were all awesome & super helpful.

Love the view
We have stayed at LaSiesta several times and have always enjoyed the stay. Some area need some updating. However, the Rum Runner water taxi with Capt. Michael and Christa is a great amenity! The shuttle service is great also.

Beautiful resort, updated and modern. The staff was great, very welcoming and accommodating. The resort was clean and well maintained. Plenty of free parking, can accommodate trailers and boats. They provide free trolley transportation on the island.

We ecountered numerous problems; including stopped up toilets in both units; stopped up drains in the shower, which caused toilet to bubble up and overflow when taking a shower. Most staff were standind around doing nothing looking at their phones. One staffer spent almost 3 hours per days sitting in a golf cart looking at his phone and watching videos! We waited almost an hour to get someone to come unplug toilet; Safe in rooms didn't work;Fans not working;TV had to be reset becuase remotes didn't work; unattended front desk for long periods; tiki bar closed most of the time and no music at pool....And finally; the front desk manager told us she would give us a $200 credit for dinner at their sister resort Amara Cay for all the problems we had. Never got the credit, and they charged my credit card for the dinner we had. Called them several times about it, and never received the credit! And there were only about 20 people staying at the resort at the time. Absolutely terrible experience!

Huge room with a view!
Service was top notch from the front desk, to the pool bartender and the shuttle driver!!! The room we stayed in was a bit out dated, but huge!!! We had an awesome view of the water, large living room, kitchen and so much closet space in the bedrooms. It was worth every penny and I hope we get the chance to come back again!!!

Unfortunately we were at the property during a hurricane watch so the property was pretty much locked down. Once the threat of the hurricane passed and the sun came out. The property seem to come to life. The bungalow we stayed in was clean and cozy and enjoyable.

The staff was wonderful, the room was very spacious and we loved that they had kayaks and paddle boards for us to use. The property was nicely kept. It was also nice that they offer a free shuttle to go to restaurants in the àrea.

I have been coming to this hotel for the last 10 years and our experience in August was terrible. It doesn’t seem the hotel is keeping up with property as the rooms seem run down. Our tv was not working. The AC vents were directly pointed to our faces in bed causing us to get sick. The pool was green and cloudy that you could not see the bottom. It clearly had algae but they still let people get in it. We mostly spent our time at Amaracay hotel, their sister hotel less than a mile away. Will not go back for the expensive price they charge, when they have let this hotel go.
