This Amelia Island beach vacation rental is centrally located off Fletcher Avenue across the street from the Atlantic Ocean Beach and near historic downtown Fernandina Beach.

Plan your next beach retreat at the “Flip Flop Inn”, a Sea Castles townhouse offering 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms within it’s newly renovated interior. A large open 1st floor centers around the family room with upgraded and fully equipped kitchen w/stainless steel appliances, laundry room and enclosed private deck with new gas grill. Stairs take you to the 2nd floor master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and plenty of storage. On the 3rd floor are 2 additional bedrooms, one with an outdoor deck, and a full bathroom. Flat screen tv's with HD cable are provided in the family room and master bedroom.
We strive to provide you with all the comforts of home!

Spend your days at the beach which is a short walk across the street or relax by the Sea Castles gated community pool. Enjoy a bike ride or walk down tree-lined 1st Avenue or a round (or two) of golf at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club located only 3 minutes away. The Flip Flop Inn is conveniently located next door to The Surf Restaurant & Bar where you can sit on their deck, feel the ocean breeze and listen to nightly entertainment. They serve breakfast, lunch & dinner as well as offer smoothies, coffee and homemade ice cream.

Valid Drivers License must be submitted at time of booking. Must be 25 years old to book and must be staying at the property the complete time.

Cockroaches and mold! Wish we had an honest up to date review to read before we booked this place.
wasn’t all bad and we did our best to enjoy our vacation regardless. Also, this won’t allow me to type all concerns so I’m being brief. But… Cleanliness was not up to par. Clothing left in drawers& closet from previous tenant. Wash cloths dingy. Sheets had holes in them. One of the bedroom doors was warped and wouldn’t shut completely. The blinds going to the back deck was broken. Didn’t have the stick to turn them or push them back, so they would just fall off if you tried to move them. One of the spindles on the staircase was broken. There was trash left between the wall &one of the twin beds. We purposely didn’t bring our beach wagon, chairs, & sand toys bc those things were listed on the amenities. However, some chairs were moldy &all sand toys were busted/broken. The wagon was on its last leg (still able to use it but hard to pull). Boogie boards were all broken so we couldn’t use them. The lock messed up on the door (battery died?). Owner came later same day &replaced the batteries. But we had to leave it unlocked until he fixed it. Then the garage lock messed up. Never was fixed. Had to leave it unlocked. Then main door lock messed up again!! Most concerning, cockroaches in garage!! Huge ones, babies ones, they would just scatter when the lights came on. Never saw any inside the condo though. Washer reeked bc it was full of mold! The whole place needs a DEEP cleaning! Tried addressing these issues via email w/owner ≠ver received a response. Location was great…

We really enjoyed our stay with only one drawback. Great location close to golf, beach, walks in residential neighborhoods, food stores. Ten minute drive to downtown area with restaurants, pickleball and Petanque. Home well maintained with up to date appliances. Homeowner nearby and available for our questions. We struggled with YouTube TV as we were new to it and definitely will request Comcast service next time! A very nice getaway!

Had a great experience! House was very clean and cute, comfortable and plenty of room for all of us, very close walk to the beach and the pool is practically in your backyard. Cooking appliances and grilled worked great, we had a very nice stay. Mike answered all of our questions right away and made everything very simple. Would highly recommend.

Flip Flop Inn was a nicely renovated townhome for our first vacation to Amelia Island. It was a short walk to beach access and closely located to a community pool. The owner Mike was very good about communicating via text message prior to and during our stay and gave a nice overall guide to the home ahead of time.

Our stay was wonderful in every way. Perfect location for this great rental. Owner very attentive. Well stocked kitchen and enjoyed the deck which is shaded in the afternoon so we could cook and eat outside. Loved the community pool and proximity to the beach. The beach wagon was a big help in transporting everything. Plenty of towels for beach and bathing. Would give it more than 5 stars if that were possible

Great house in a great location
The townhouse was very clean and spacious enough for my family of 5. Parking was easy, and the property is incredibly convenient to activities and within easy walking distance of the beautiful beach. The pool was great to have as an alternative way to get water time, and my children were in it every day despite the fact that it was still quite cool in April. I couldn't recommend it any higher.

Wonderful long weekend stay!
A great property, close to the beach and other activities in the area. The place was clean and had enough space for guests to spread out. My only feedback would be there were no face towels, so bring your own! Also there are three flights of stairs if you have older guests. Other than that a great stay and we would stay again.

Fantastic stay in Fernandina
We escaped the cold and snow in Buffalo and spent a very comfortable five weeks on Amelia Island. This condo has very spacious rooms with upgrades everywhere. There is a master bedroom and bath on the second level and two bedrooms and very nice hall bathroom on the third level where guests can have their own space.. We would definitely return.

Great property
The home was clean, well-maintained, and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with anything needed for cooking and dining. Nice size private deck with a large, high quality gas grill. Good location. Short walk to the beach-about 100 yards from unit to the beach access and if walking that distance is challenging for someone, there are some parking spaces at the beach access site so one can drive there. This came in handy for my wife who has peripheral neuropathy. Location is also close to restaurants, shopping, and the historic district. Pool is just feet from the back deck and is a really nice size and was never crowded during our stay and we used it at least twice a day for 2-3 hours each time. Definitely recommend this property and plan to book again in the future.

The condo was in a good neighborhood close to the beach and good restaurants it was well stocked with everything you would need. There were a few negatives when we arrived we found kids clothes that had been left on the floor wet from the previous occupants apparently the cleaners did not see them so we had to get them up. Also when I went to put clothes in the dryer there were two damp towels left in the dryer that had to be re-washed by myself. The blinds by the sliding door they go out to the back patio were sticky. Overall in my opinion the place could use a very thorough deep cleaning. Maybe because I have my own cleaning business and do this for a living that I noticed these things more than others would but there definitely were some things and needed improvement as far as cleanliness goes.
