We love staying at this hotel because our kids love the pool, the beach is beautiful, and V pizza and Cookies and Crème ice cream are a short walk away.

Overall, very good My room had a bit of a musty smell coming from the AC unit. Housekeeping was supposed to service room (by request) but missed me somehow. I would go back for sure. The staff was accommodating and apologized for their error without much fuss. The breakfast service in the AM is terrific! LOVED the Oceanside Tiki bar!

Was clean and quiet at night. Rained that week and the weekend but it did stop for a little while on Saturday for my husband and I to walk on the beach and remember the day we got married down in Jacksonville Beach in a different location at the time. We celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary that day.

Weekend Getaway
The staff was very friendly at all times and very welcoming. The room was very clean, the front desk called us 30 minutes after checking in to see how everything was. The only complaints we have were the pillows were very worn out but I always travel with my own pillows so no issue for me but not so much for my spouse. The Floor lamp base in Room 434 needs tightening as it was leaning to one side. The refrigerator took a long time to get cold and it still didn't cool as it should have even after staying there for 3 nights. The flatware given for the Free Breakfast in the morning could stand an upgrade as it was the cheapest ever and the knife certainly would not cut a waffle. Luckily, we had spare flatware with us.
