If you’re looking for an oceanfront option, and you don’t need a full house, this is an excellent place to stay. I booked the oceanfront room, was on the second floor, and the experience was fantastic. It had a sliding door with access to the balcony and chairs for seating. I enjoyed my Hampton Inn included breakfast in my room sitting outside with an oceanfront view. The location is very central to everything along Jacksonville beaches and there’s plenty of places to eat and shop. I was there for a conference in downtown Jacksonville. It was great to return back this room at the beaches in the evening. If you’re going to Jacksonville, it’s worth the commute to stay in Jacksonville Beach and this Hampton Inn is a solid option.

I was at this hotel because my wife had a conference at a campus near the hotel. The hotel was ok and the staff was great. Great location for the beach. Beware do not eat at this hotel. I ended up leaving early because I got sick and was throwing up after ordering the steak tacos…..

The Pool
I paid for my daughter and her husband to stay here for their first wedding anniversary. We have stayed at this Jacksonville Florida Hampton Inn before and absolutely love it. The pool is like no other. Makes a guest feel like they’re staying at an island resort. The food is so good too! The breakfast has so much and is delicious. The restaurant here is so good and it’s nice they have tables out by the pool you can relax and eat. I love Hampton Inns because they’re so clean and comfortable and quiet. This one is my favorite!

There were roaches in the bathroom and the pool closes at 10PM. The breakfast also closes at 10AM which is standard yet unreasonable and old fashioned. It was a beautiful, quiet area with a variety of things to do as well as dining. Although staff costumer services was subpar the drinks were enjoyable.

We evacuated for a hurricane in FL and this hotel was very comforting. The staff were so welcoming and demonstrated empathy and understanding. Breakfast was delicious with hot options like omelets. Offering a good mix of breakfast options. The lobby has a small grill/café by the pool and they have delicious burgers, salads and other fast food options. Nearby, within walkable distance, there is a good Mexican and Italian Restaurant, too. The rooms are very comfortable with nice beds and clean bathrooms. Pool is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay, the view from our balcony and will return in the future. Thank you for the hospitality in such difficult times.
