Refrigerator did not work in room. When we mentioned it to the clerk, he said, “Well, maybe next time.” Didn’t help since we lost some food. Unfortunate. Also, checking in was a little too much drama. Clerk wouldn’t allow my husband to check in for us even though he had the confirmation email and he has checked in for us on other stays. So, he called me. When I walked in to check in per request, clerk was waiting on another guest. So I got in line behind the other guest. Clerk said, “I need to see your ID.” I thought she was talking to the guest in front of me that she was helping. She didn’t address or look at me.so I waited my turn. She said it again. Not super friendly. Again, I had no idea she was speaking to me as she didn’t address or look at me. A third time she repeated louder and looked at me. I realized she was speaking to me and so I handed over my ID. Why so rude Hilton Garden Inn? I feel you can do better.
Very walkable with many options for shopping and dining. Dog friendly property and parking area well lit.

Room was dingy from poor lighting and things weren't exactly clean. Room needs updating especially the bathroom. There is a terrible smell in the bathroom like burnt rubber. The faucet in the bathroom sink is awful.
The only little thing I had a problem with was a broom and dustpan left just inside the front door. The young man was cleaning the lobby and he went to something else . Supervisors should catch that.
Otherwise, the facility was as good as a much more expensive property I stayed at in Dallas last month

I did not like that they did not clean our room everyday. I won’t be back for this reason. Not enough parking. Had to park in the shopping area behind the hotel. No coffee pods in our room. Had to get those from the maid cart both mornings. Had to ask for more towels. We asked for help to get the ironing board down and we wanted more cups. They never showed up.
The hotel is in a great location, with dinning and shopping options within walking distance and/or a few minutes drive. The staff members were courteous and friendly. My only suggestion would be that the vinyl flooring in the rooms should be vacummed and wiped after each guest. There were crumbs under the dinning table in my room and hair throughout the sitting area. Overall, the hotel was relatively clean and provided for a safe and comfortable stay.
The check-in was not good because they don’t have Apple Pay. And I didn’t have a credit card so I had to use my companions credit card. I could not use my Apple Pay.
The front desk attendant said a chip card was required to save a card for incidentals. That seems very antiquated way of doing business.
The first room assigned was not ready for a new guest, but I was quickly reassigned and upgraded by friendly front desk staff. The new room was much better, and overall very comfortable. But detailed cleaning is needed. The windowsill was so dirty that dust bunnies had formed. Further inspection revealed other easy to dust areas like the toilet paper holder, behind and under the coffee maker, and the floor in the bathroom need attention as well. The bed was comfortable and well made, but why did the bottom sheet not fit the mattress?
