We had the most amazing experience. This place has a restaurant on site with amazing staff, pool in the center of the resort, and clean newly renovated rooms. We had the nicest woman check us in to our room ( Angela) we got the most beautiful room with a view of the pool/beach. Our room had a refrigerator and the market/stores are a 5 minute walk right next to the hotel. Love this place and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Kauai.

Staff was friendly and helpful, location was great, right on the beach and close to the airport, shopping, restaurants, and the entire island is reachable within an hour drive. The rooms are newly renovated and quiet.

I loved this hotel , restaurant on premises , walking distance to the beach . Very quiet, clean and aesthetically pleasing. I took advantage of the two pools and jacuzzi. The best part was the proximity to the airport and public transportation. Bikes available for rent at no charge for guest . I would recommend, and stay there again . Best choice

The hotel has a fantastic vibe, and the convenience of direct beach access is unbeatable. Parking is included in the resort fees, which is a nice perk. Although I had initially requested a king room, we were given a room with two queen beds on the first night. Fortunately, the staff was very accommodating and promptly switched us to a king room for the rest of our stay. While there is a restaurant on-site, we opted not to dine there due to the higher prices. Instead, we enjoyed some excellent nearby takeout options, including Wailua Drive In and Coconut Thai, which we visited twice!

Staff was friendly & helpful. Liked borrowing free bikes and the short walk to shopping mall. Restaurant food was good & had nightly entertainment. Ocean view was only if you sat outside the room on balcony. The pool & spa was right below our window- very loud & noisy.

Kauai shores hotel was great affordable option for our trip. The rooms are newly decorated and clean. Every room has balcony or lanai so that was handy for our sandy shoes, etc… The grounds are so cute and make it feel like a much more upscale hotel. The lava lava restaurant is a great location and such a cool vibe. You have a close beachfront setting. The parking is not good. The spots are very very tight and usually fill up. We ended up parking on the side of the shopping mall next door and was no more of a distance to walk. So we ended preferring parking over there.

Fun and downtown earth resort.
It was just an overnight from the Big Island. Just to see the different scenery. But I am impressed by this beach side resort. You can enjoy swimming during the day and dancing and jacuzzi at night. Next door walking distance, you can enjoy shopping and eating and drinking! Also not too far from the airport, which is very convenient.
