Curry Mansion is beautiful and the room was big. I liked the extra sink outside the bathroom. Bed was comfortable, mostly quiet except for bathers late at night. We had a problem with the air conditioner control - only cold air during a (admittedly rare cold snap) and could not get any heat. No one available to come at night to fix it, so we were very uncomfortable the first night. After a few calls to remind someone to schedule repair, a repairman did come to fix it. Unfortunately, breakfast began too late for us to stay - early conference start - but we did have a drink on the veranda one evening. Lovely. I really miss having a person on site to talk to about any issues or questions. However, the people I spoke with on the phone were pleasant. We just never received confirmation of our issue. Our airco unit was plugged in, so we assumed someone had been there. We left it off and were comfortable the other 2 nights and gone most of the days. The location is excellent - we walked everywhere. Thank you for the mostly comfortable stay.
