A TRUE CARIBBEAN PARADISE! Location! Location! Location! The Conch Retreat Condo is located in the prestigious Truman Annex.
2 bedrooms, 1 bath, queen and 2 twins (or we can convert the twins to a king bed upon request). Both have built in closets with shelves for your convenience also TV's with cable.
Free parking spot comes with condo, however you don't need a car.
There are 2 bicycles for your use with helmets.
Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances glass top stove, ice-maker and coffee maker, pots & pans, everything you need for your stay.
Secure High Speed Internet.
This upper floor condo has hurricane doors that open up to back deck where you can relax around the tropical Palm trees. Bathroom with walk in shower, medicine cabinet and storage cabinet. Vanity and shelves for storage.
Washer & dryer with iron & ironing board.
Living/Dining area has table with seating for four, sofa, accent chair, TV with cable and 2 side tables and coffee table.
Back balcony opens up from living room where you can enjoy the tropical foliage, great for your morning coffee.
Front balcony opens up from kitchen with settee seating.

You are in a gated community off of street in a quiet community.
Explore the Waterfront/water park for kids behind the complex. Amphitheater, splash park, playground. Stroll to the Waterfront Pier and enjoy the sunsets and sailboats. Mallory Square is famous for local vendors and amazing sunset celebrations.
Road to Fort Zachary Beach is directly behind complex. You have opportunities for swimming, picnic, grilling, snorkeling, and fishing. Visitors can also enjoy a short nature trail and bicycling within the park. The beachfront Cayo Hueso Café offers snacks, cold beverages, beach sundries, and souvenirs. Two blocks to Duval where you will find shopping, restaurants, night clubs and museums. Visit the Historic Seaport District where you will find dining, entertainment or catch a sunset cruise. There is so much to see and do. My husband and I take pride in our vacation homes. They are our home away from home and want our guests to be comfortable and enjoy what Key West has to offer. Much needed vacation
Condo was nice. Very clean and very nice location. Perfect for the two of us. I would not recommend for two couples though. Just too small. Bathroom very tiny. Cannot accommodate two adults to even brush your teeth. Beds were okay, blankets were super soft and comfortable. Shower terrible pressure and there’s an opening for a door that just lets cold air in Not great. Beach chairs and towels were very much appreciated. Neighbor next door was elderly and watched Fox News every morning starting at 6:30 am very loudly. Could not believe we could hear every single word. Very annoying My husband had to go next door to ask him to keep it down in the early am. He was apologetic and did so for two days. lol. So that was annoying. The grounds are beautiful. Reminded us of Hawaii. Truly. Pools were also nice but definitely not heated as advertised. Overall love the area.

Great visit
We loved Conch Retreat. The only thing we would change next time we use VRBO would be to find a place with two bathrooms and a grill. Otherwise we enjoyed the property and had a memorable visit.

Great Location
Everything was as listed and we enjoyed our stay. Beds comfortable and decks were relaxing. It was during Fantasy Fest so I may have left some glitter in the condo which I apologize for. The only issue was the parking permit procedure. Went to guard gate at Truman Complex and he told us they no longer provide them. Found the parking permit papers in a drawer in table in living room. longer give Shopyard

Prefect Location. Great condo
This was a great condo woth perfect location to everything old town key west. Owners reaponded quickly to things we asked. Very comfortable beds. Since we were not in there much it was a great place to stay. Pool was great as well.

The Ship Yard condominiums are the best place to stay..location, location… you can walk every where and a vehicle is not necessary. The condominium is very nicely appointed, we found the available light weight, folding beach chairs great to take to Fort Zack beach. Very comfortable stay and enjoyable places to dine. We are repeat travelers to Key West and will be planning again for next year.

We loved staying here. It was as described and one of the cleanest places I’ve rented. Great location. We cooked less than expected but had everything we needed. Biked every day. The way to get around. Check the prices of rental bikes and you’ll see what a great bonus it is to have them provided.

Fifth time we have stayed there
All the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. 10 minute walk to Mallory Square or Ft Zachary beach. Reserved parking onsite. Nice outdoor balconies front and rear. Decent cable package and access to Roku, if that is your thing, Green Parrot Bar, Big Cheexees and Blue Heaven nearby. Frita's for burgers and Cuban.

We have stayed in this condo for several years and always enjoyed our stay. The owners have not made any improvements since the pandemic yet have increased their prices significantly. This year's stay of 3 weeks cost more than our previous stays of 4 weeks. It is time to replace the twin beds. The armless chair in the living room which is more of a bedroom chair is very uncomfortable. The front porch is lovely for coffee, but there is only seating for 2 people. We found the condo quite dirty. I think deep cleaning would be helpful. And sorry lastly the bikes need to be replaced. The short bike has something seriously wrong with the pedals. They have been that way for years. The tall bike is for a 6ft tall person. I can understand a price increase if improvements have been made, but in this case there have been none.

Excellent location, no car needed! Walk to everything. Nice, clean, comfortable. Bonus not shown in photos is an additional mirror, small table and electric outlet outside of bathroom, providing a second hair/makeup spot! Nicely appointed kitchen, had everything we needed. Only downside was the walls are very thin. Had a fabulous time!

My happy place
This is our second stay at this condo. 1st trip with 2 teenagers. This trip 4 adults. Everything we needed and great host who is easy to work with. Bikes are a plus, 2 additional bikes cost 140 for a week, nice savings.
