SureStay of Lewiston, Maine
Our room was clean and spacious with a king size bed, small refrigerator and microwave, along with a coffee maker. There was also a large flat screen TV. The hotel is older, but appears to have been renovated recently. A continental breakfast is offered. Friendly staff at the front desk and housekeeping was top notch. Easy access from the Maine Turnpike.

When I walked in, I was hit with a “wall” of curry in the air. I love curry, I don’t like a motel smelling like curry. There were shady characters in the motel on both occasions I dawned the doors of this place. I asked for a refund to no avail. AVOID THIS HOTEL!

It was fine just for the night. The floor looked like it was never washed. The house keeper envelope was gross and crusty. The one chair that was in the room, there was no way I was going to sit on it because it was so stained and it looked like it had boogers on the side of the chair.

Rude front desk night worker… spoke to me like I was a child, I’m 30. Woman working the morning shift was amazing. I’d return, hopefully the disrespect I was shown was just someone having a bad night.

I tried to cancel my second night of this stay by 1:30 day prior (26 hours prior to check in) and they wouldn’t do it. The rooms have paper thin walls and the front desk was not helpful.

My stay was terrible. room was located directly across from the check in desk & next to the room where the ice machine was. So everytime the ice machine was used you could hear it and anytime someone checked in you heard the entire conversation. There was a truck parked outside my window and the truck was loud and noisy so each time it started I heard it. I was told a soccer team was staying there the same night I was there so you couldn’t get near the breakfast area because it was so crowded. With breakfast starting at 6:00 I could hear everyone’s conversation because of how close I was, Between 11-12 o’clock Friday night a guest was arguing with a staff member. The argument became very loud making it difficult to sleep. Not an enjoyable stay after driving 6 1/2 hrs to get there. On a positive note the woman who was covering the front desk was apologetic when I told her of my experience and when I finally was able to get near the breakfast, the breakfast was closed as it ended at 9 and I got to it at 9:15. The desk clerk allowed me and my 96 yr old mom to get some yogurt and bagels and she turned the juice machine back on so we could have some juice and coffee. I give her a 10 out of 10 review, the cleanliness of the hotel a 9 out of 10 review but the location of the room a 1 out of 10. A one because I was on the 1st floor. when I booked the room i knew my 96 yr old mom wouldn’t beable to do the stairs so I asked for a room on the 1st flr,but the location was noisy and loud
