Incompetence of staff was overwhelming. I booked the hotel for 6 days and due to work constraints had to leave two days earlier. Staff told me that they will not return two remaining days since I’m leaving early. They stated that this is Expedia requirements. I reached out to Expedia and had no issues with them, they stated “we hear it first time”. Expedia was able to get my money back by calling facility and dealing with them. 5 stars to Expedia staff and 2 for facility front desk.

There needs to be blackout shades or curtains. There was a light in the parking lot of outside our room which made it bright all night long. I was actually awakened by a vehicle parked right outside the window when they left super early and their lights came on.

The hotel was excellent. Dining was the biggest problem. All the restaurants nearby closed at 8pm. We had to drive 30 minutes to get to a restaurant.

Pleasant Experience - Recommend!
As an extremely discriminating frequent traveler, the littlest things can turn even a 5 star hotel experience to thumbs down. This hotel is shown as a 2 1/2 star and being in a fairly rural area, I had low expectations. But was PLEASANTLY surprised! I booked 3 rooms for my adult family and we all arrived at different times. Despite how busy things were, with 3 weddings and the Ligonier Days event, the front desk staff greeted us with a smile and utmost efficiency and professionalism. The common areas and our newly renovated room were clean and well appointed. And brewed coffee in the lobby was most appreciated!
