What the pictures don’t show is that, the toilet is so tiny that I couldn’t stretch out my 2 hands while inside the toilet ( and by toilet I mean the wc, the washing basin and the shower room combined ). And this tiny toilet doent even have an extraction fan inside of it so Goodluck with any smell that could get into the room. The rooms don’t have a ventilation system so you can only open the window for fresh air to come in. When I was searching for a place, I remember considering this hotel vs travel lodge and decided to save about £8 or so by going for this as the sq ft of the rooms were the same. Well that was a huge mistake for the reasons above.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. We only booked at the last minute and we were able to request a ground floor room. There is a good selection of places to have an evening meal within walking distance from the hotel, but the area around the hotel is very quiet. Everywhere was very clean and well looked after.

For what we needed this hotel was ideal. Rooms are small and compact but no complaints at all. Affordable, clean, tidy and beds were very comfy. Served its purpose as somewhere to drop off our stuff and then come back to get our heads down. Hotel staff were a pleasure to deal with and very friendly, helped us check in early and had details to hand for local transport and taxis. Retail park the Hotel is on is absolutely loaded too, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, fast food and boulangeries galore. We drove and from Dunkirk it was about a 45 min drive. To get in to Lille was simple and easy enough, 5-10 min walk to train station, 5 mins on train and then straight on to the Metro. (Taxi back at 1 in the morning was about 40 euros from smack bang the centre of Lille.) If in Lille again we'll definitely be back and will use again.

A run down wreck
The image in my mind when you pay approx €250 for a night is a hotel room with a little luxury. What you get is a shoebox. The doors don’t shut or close properly, the bathroom is so small you have to step out backwards because ita too tight to turn around in. The lighting is ridiculous, better to use the torch on your mobile phone to see then rely on a wall light in the corner with the luminescence of a candle. It seemed clean enough, but no wonder the hotel had some availability for the rugby world cup, I should have checked other reviews before blindly booking this disaster.

Simple and comfortable
We had to check in late and we’re able to do via an automated machine outside of the hotel door. It gave us no issue and we were able to get into our room quickly. The room was clean and simple, and had everything needed for a restful night.

Cheap but not so cheerful.
Just good for very cheap stop over. Otherwise, bed hard & 1 pillow (filled with beads/lumps. Again, it's cheap which is a bonus, but don't expect much for breakfast. Bread, jam, watery yoghurt, orange juice & tea/coffee. You get what you pay for.

Decent room for a bargain price
Clean and comfortable small room. Good for the price paid. Staff nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok if you love bread as that is pretty much all breakfast is, having said that it was very cheap and food was fresh.

Not bad for one night stay
Not a bad hotel for one night stay - bathroom small but not bad for the price, local area brilliant as there is many places to eat and shop, check in and check out easy. Beds are not comfy and the traffic from the motorway is loud. Would recommend for a one night stop over though
