'Buoy Wonder' Ikea Free Luxury at the Sea! King Oceanfront Condo, Pool & Netflix

No. 207 “Buoy Wonder” is a second-story condo on the north end of the Sea Gypsy that is modern and luxurious. What's more, there is nothing in here from Ikea!

This condo underwent a complete remodel in 2015. We updated everything, adding vessel sinks to the bathrooms, tiling the showers and putting granite in our kitchen and bathrooms. Thought has been put into every aspect of this condo, down to the dishes and cookware. We drove right past Ikea while searching for furnishings.

Buoy Wonder has a larger master bedroom than most Sea Gypsy units, with a California King bed and dressers that make this condo feel more like home, and less like a motel. We have 50-inch flatscreen TVs in both rooms of the condo, and a brand new bedroom set that is not from Ikea.

A great view of the beach can be seen from the oceanside suite, which we've left open by furnishing it with a sofa, love seat and elegant dining table. The sofa converts into a queen-sized bed, which we didn't get from Ikea.

There is an Apple TV which streams Netflix, HuluPlus, HBOGO, Pandora and more. We also have a DVD player and DVDS.

One thing we don't have, though, is furniture from Ikea.

Make yourself comfortable in this condo, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. Netflix and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Don't miss out on recreational opportunities including an indoor pool and a sauna.

Spring break

It was spring break so lots of noise of kids running back and forth and slamming doors so hard it felt like the walls were breaking. And then no later than 7 am it happens all over again. The condo was clean and comfortable otherwise. The only suggestion would be to replace the toaster it’s a fire hazard right now. And maybe help the fold out couch cushions so you don’t sink in.

Great spot !

The condo was just lovely. Couldn’t have a better location or an easier process to check in and out. Beautiful unit, plenty of space, heated pool and sauna was a plus on a cold day. I’d definitely return. Only constructive feedback I have would be for blackout curtains in the bedroom as the lights from outside were fairly bright in the bedroom and I’m used to sleeping in a very dark environment but it wasn’t a big deal.

Great location, pool was fun. Questionable stains on couch cushions and couch pillows. Was very excited for a cup of coffee in the morning, but while the carafe was spotless, the inside of the coffee maker was filled with moldy grounds. Battery in one of the locks died. But over all a very great value!

Kinda felt a little cramped in, lots of noisy neighbors, you can hear everything and everyone around you. It had the basic necessities, black out curtains do not block out light in bedroom, but an amazing view and easy beach access for the family

Nice two night stay at the beach

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and it worked well for us and our two young kids. The carpet was very stained, but the unit looked like it was cleaned well. The curtains in the bedroom don’t block the light out well and you can easily hear people walking up/ down the common area stairs, talking etc. none of that was a problem in the living area, where there’s a twin sofa bed and queen sofa bed. If you sleep in the living area you get the added bonus of the sound of the ocean while you sleep. Great location right in front of the beach!

Very cute place with all the upgrades

Amazing location with easy beach access. If you're a light sleeper you'll want to bring ear plugs, as the building was built in the 70s and tastefully remodeled, the walls are thin. We had a great time and will definitely be going back!!

Beautiful but not clean & missing sheets for sofa sleeper

The fridge inside wasn't clean, nor the microwave. The floors had not been swept or vacuumed. Hair on bathroom floor, but everything else great! No sheets for sofa sleeper, but had them within 15 minutes of calling. I will definitely stay here again!
